Analysis of slope prone to sliding
Píchová, Sylvie ; Erbenová, Alexandra (referee) ; Paseka, Antonín (advisor)
The diploma thesis illustrates landslide investigation, geophysical and engineering-geological landslide survey and landslide stability reconnaissance. Static calculations based on FEM were performed in the GEO5 program. A back analysis of the landslide mathematical model was executed, which resulted in the reliability of the static landslide assessment. The complicated stabilization construction of the pile and micropile walls were optimized by mathematical modeling of successive phases of construction. The method of execution of construction work during the landslide rehabilitation was designed as well as the dimensions of reinforcing structures.
Stability analysis of landslide area
Píchová, Sylvie ; Erbenová, Alexandra (referee) ; Paseka, Antonín (advisor)
In the bachelor thesis is shown Zaruba & Mencl classification of landslide, site investigations and methods of static calculations using limit state equilibrium method. In the thesis is solved recent landslide in the profile II-II of site VIII in Brno Bystrc in Czech Republic.  In the paper work is explained how is made engineering geology and hydrogeology site investigation. Stability of recent landslide is made using back analysis of friction angle on the shear band in equilibrium state (FS=1)  of Pettersson strip method using programs Excell and Autocad. Its result is check using different Limite state methods in program GEO 5 of FINE company. Pettersson strip method using programs Excell and Autocad. In the next step  was checked degree of slope stability using Pettersson strip method using programs Excell and Autocad in the gradual lowering of water (landslide rescue method). The landslide rescue method was finally designed.
Design and evaluation of the remedial works of railway embankment in Vsetín area
Vašina, Adam ; Paseka, Antonín (referee) ; Štefaňák, Jan (advisor)
This document is focused on the elucidation of embankment deformation nearby žst. Valašská Polanka, with subsequent proposal of remediation measures, for which the own software and commercial software Plaxis 2D were used.
Engineering geological survey evaluation of area affected by lanslides in Budkovice
Prechtlová, Kateřina ; Paseka, Antonín (referee) ; Erbenová, Alexandra (advisor)
This Thesis deals with evaluation of engineer-geological survey of area affected by landslides near Budkovice. The area of interest is situated in the south part of Boskovická brázda on the left bank of the river Rokytná. The Thesis first outlines the problems of slope movements in general: why it’s appropriate to study them, what factors play role in their creation, what areas are prone to their creation, how to proceed with engineer-geological survey and how the slope stability is solved. Next itfocuses on the above mentioned landslide in village Budkovice. Geology and hydrogeology of the area of interest were studied. Carried out survey works were summarized. I became familiar with their results and outputs.Friction angle of the residual strength on the slip plane was calculated using Pettersson’s method, it’s value was 11,27°. Simple geological cuts though the slope area and calculation cut were made. Groundwater level was measured on the preserved drill holes and it was compared with former values.
Foundations in Volume Unstable Soils
Legut, Dana ; Weiglová, Kamila (referee) ; Hauser,, Jaroslav (referee) ; Zdražil, Karel (referee) ; Vašina,, Josef (referee) ; Paseka, Antonín (advisor)
This dissertation is concerned with the foundations in volume unstable soils and objects disorders which are related to this. The thesis was focused on the study of clay and loess soils which are abundant in the geological profile of the Czech Republic. First, the formation of the two groups of soils is introduced, then their properties are examined and finally the influence of vegetation on the former type and the influence of collapsibility in the latter type are investigated. The conclusion is, in fact, a recommendation on the design of structures so that the system of clay / structure is not damaged and that structures are not subject to renovations. Several instance of problems with structures are discussed which were subject to structural repairs employing both a civil and geotechnical engineers.
Foundation of Building in Landslide Area
Golka, Kamil ; Erbenová,, Alexandra (referee) ; Paseka, Antonín (advisor)
The subject of my thesis is the exploration the landslide, landslide stabilization, design foundation and construct buildings in Brno Bystrc. Attention will be given to slopes safety factor and especially to design four-floor building construction.

The financial and legal aspects of alternative payment systems from the anti-money laundering prespective
Paseka, Antonín ; Boháč, Radim (referee)
The financial and legal aspects of alternative payment systems from the anti-money laundering prespective Abstract The aim of this thesis is to provide a general overview of the current state of alternative payment systems with regard to their inclusion in the financial market, their properties and potentials for wider use, and to evaluate their possibilities to more effectively combat money laundering, terrorist financing and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. In the first chapter, the thesis explains the broader context with regard to financial systems, especially within the money market systems focusing on retail, while providing a deeper explanation of the context of European law and Czech law. The second chapter is focused on closer analysis of alternative payment systems with regard to their use. Alternative payment systems are divided into two basic categories for centralized alternative payment systems and decentralized alternative payment systems. The category of centralized alternative payment systems corresponds to the current conventional financial market, taking into account the innovations that have emerged in recent years. Decentralized alternative payment systems are based on the DLT Blockchain technology and the Islamic Hawala payment system is analyzed as a purely informal,...
