Influence of visibility in water column on predation pressure in predatory aquatic insects

The influence of abiotic factors on predation behaviour in predatory aquatic animals is reviewed. The most important factors are turbidity, light intensity and complexity of the environment. These abiotic factors are often combined with biotic factors. The second important part of thesis is the description of functional responses and influence of changes of visibility on individual components of predation behaviour. The review is complemented by laboratory experiments on two selected species of aquatic insects.

Strategic management and development of the community

The aim of this work was to assess the current situation analysis in strategic management and development of township Křemže. In this thesis were analyzed as the PESTLE analysis, interest groups, SWOT analysis, budget analysis Křemže township and municipal cooperation. It was also carried out a survey and interviews with the township mayor Ing. Josef Troupe. In the discussion section after each analysis were evaluated and weaknesses were highlighted, including a proposal to address particular situations.

Inside the firm and its evaluation

In my thesis, I pursued a public limited copany Water Supply and Sanitation South Bohemia, based in České Budějovice. That I used analysis of results in individual functional areas, where I was in the kontext of this work include research and development, production, marketing, human resources and finance. I prepared a financial analysis and SWOT analysis farther. From the survey results emerges that the copany shows good competitiveness and an increasingly stronger position in the market. The strengths of the firm are reflected both in the fields of finance, marketing, production and in the field of human resouces. In contrast, weaknesess of the firm are embody in the fields of sales, but also in the fields of finance. At the end of the work I pursued at proposing the most appropriate strategy for the selected firm to maintain or improvement its current market position.
