Summary The thesis deals with the issue of peace, how to achieve and maintain peace in a world where conflict takes its toll. The two authors chosen have a similar approach in terms of form, in that both believe that education is the means par excellence for achieving peace. However, while Montessori emphasized the education of children, Nyerere Julius encouraged him to educate adults.
