A sportsman personality, influences and duration of sport career.

6 ABSTRACT Thesis is considering man's personality and it's influence with sportsman's performance and carrier in paragliding sports. It investigates Sportsman's personality and characteristics of his interests as a permanent file of qualities gathered by questionary. Consequently it compares measured components affecting sport performance. The goal is to describe, analyze and compare effects of sportsman's personality over chosen competitive pilots from Czech Republic and their sport performance. Main method to complete the data is questionnaire for pilots of diverse level of performance. Title of dissertation: Interaction of sportsman's personality and his paragliding career. Objectives of dissertation: To state and compare interaction of sportsmen's personality and interests with his sport performance. Method: Quiestionnaire investigation Results: In paragliding sports sportsman's personality doesn't affect sportsman's performance. Key words: paragliding, sportman's personality, characteristics of interests, correlative analysis, specific flying conditions.
