Performance management

The bachelor thesis " Performance Management " deals with the training and the development of human resources, their motivation, assessment and other factors influencing performance management . The first chapter lists the main aspects of performance management in relation to human resources. The second and the third chapters are devoted to the training and motivation. They give a detailed description of the aspects of the factors which are nowadays the most important for the development of the organisation. The fourth chapter refers to the HR assessment, still not so common, i.e. labour peformance, labour behaviour and also the possible contingencies. It points out all the advantages and assets of systematic performance appraisal for the organisation. It also stresses and analyses the preparation stage as a necessary prerequisite for successful introduction of the assessment of employees. The chapter includes the selection of techniques, methods and criteria which can be applied to the assessment. The conclusion of this part describes the steps (procedures) necessary for successful implementation of this system. In the fifth chapter the author pays her attention to the strategy of enumeration of employees as a very important aspect in the performance management. Route truck transport planning for company Blažek a synové s.r.o.

This bachelor thesis deals with the planning of routes for truck transport company Blažek a synové. The aim is through appropriate economic and mathematical methods to find a suitable route, while that would be a minimal cost.
The literature review describes the basic terms on this topic. Primarily i tis focused on logistics and road car transport. There are also so described the methods by which it is possible to solve this problem.
Practical work is divided into two parts. First, it is assumed that the circuit will take a larger car that can carry all at once. Therefore, in this case, Vogel's approximation method is used and the best route for the company is chosen. In the second part, on the contrary, it is assumed that smaller cars must be taken so the route is divided into circuits. In this case Mayer's method is used, which divides the route into three areas. Again, the best route is selected.
In the end of this work there is evaluation. Assessing the financial terms and there is also a comparison of actual mileage of the routes used and calculated routes chosen methods. The comparison shows that the larger cars company save more money and also driving less kilometers.

Oilseed rape root system development with regard to various ways of soil preparation

This thesis deals with the root system of winter rape with regard to various tillage methods. Resolves, whether for winter rape and its root systém is better standart tillage or minimization. This problem was solved by a one-year research. Sectional characters of each soil treatment such as a root length, diameter of root crown, the length of the longest leaf, number of leaves, the weight of fresh and dried roots were compared in two periods. The results were very good for both technologies, but standart tillage was better in more partial characters. The conclusion of this work is that the standart tillage has a better effect on the development of the root system of winter rape and this experiment should be repeated for longer-term comparisons.

Community Social Work with Seniors

This bachelor's thesis is aimed on community social work with elderly in the Community Center Máj in České Budějovice. Theoretical part is divided into several chapters: current state, where I deal with the notions of old age, aging, elderly. Next subchapter is community and community social work, where among other, terms are explained like community social worker, community planning and its phases. At the end of the theoretical part, the Community Center Máj in České Budějovice, its development and organizations working here, are described. Practical part contains the aim of my bachelor's thesis, which is mapping the usage of social care and their contribution for the elderly in the Community Center Máj in České Budějovice. Partial objective is to describe possibilities of community social work with elderly in the Community Center Máj in České Budějovice. It further contains research questions, which deal with services offered in Community Center, contributions of the Community Center to the elderly population; and where lies the role of social worker in Community Center. In following part, research methods used in the thesis are described, where qualitative research and questioning method along with semi-structured interview method and content analysis of the data were employed. Described is also the experimental set, which was composed of elderly, who attend the activities of the Community Center Máj in České Budějovice. Following chapter presents the processed results, which is mapping of employed social services and their contribution to the elderly in the Community Center Máj in České Budějovice. To research question No. 1: What kind of services are consumed by elderly in the Community Center Máj in České Budějovice? were found following results - based on interviews, the communication partners agree, in all cases they employ mainly services of the organization Ledax, o.p.s. In some cases they also use Senior point, which works here too under the patronage of Ledax, o.p.s. Based on information by other organizations working in the Community Center Máj in České Budějovice, we can say that the elderly prefer the Elderly Club to others. To the research question No. 2: What is the contribution of the services in the Community Center Máj in České Budějovice to the elderly? was found, that the contribution of the Community Center Máj in České Budějovice lies mainly in supporting social inclusion. All communication partners agreed that the Community Center is convenient for active leisure activities. To research question No. 3: Where lies the role of social worker in the Community Center Máj in České Budějovice? it was found out, that currently there is no social worker employed in the the Community Center Máj in České Budějovice, however in the future, some organizations, like Ledax, o.p.s., plan to expand their activities into this area too. Currently such worker is not necessary, from my point of view and according to information of some organizations, there would not currently be enough work for him. In discussion I compare acquired data with specialized literature. Follows conclusion, where summary of the entire work can be found, as well as possible further uses of this thesis.

Cemical composition of hemp (\kur{Cannabis sativa}) and possibilities of its utilization as animal feed

Cannabis sativa L. is an annual cultural plant used from ancient times up to the present in many spheres of the human life. The aim of this bachelor study was to summarize on the basis of literature sources the information about chemical composition of the hemp seed (basic composition, content of amino acids, fiber, vitamins and specific substances, etc.), genetic variability in the substances content, and possibilities of utilization of the hemp seed and also plant residues as feed. Feeding hemp seeds to poultry increases egg production and enriches egg yolk with carotenoids, - 3 and - 6 fatty acids and decreases the cholesterol content. In case of broilers, hemp seeds increases the weight of the breasts, thighs, liver, stomach, intestines and the portion of abdominal fat. Hemp seed cakes have a positive effect on rumen function, support reception of neutral detergent fiber and increases the unsaturated fatty acids content in the meat. Hemp oil relieves stress and improves immunity of the fed animals.

Noise map

The aim of this paper is to introduce the measurement of noise. The first part is focused on describing the physical properties of sound in space, atmospheric and physiological acoustics. It also deals with the physiological effects of noise on the human body and technology needed for measure and process noise. Conclusion describes the structure of a geographic information system (GIS).The conclusion summarizes the results of individual measurements, showing noise maps and detailed analysis.

Expert Systems in the eHealth

This work focuses on the use of expert systems in engineering and medicine with the use of eHealth. The aim is the creation of an expert system that utilizes available systems for measuring physiological parameters of a patient, and helps him with the primary examination before visiting the doctor. Part of this work is a description of the problems of expert systems, descriptions of the eHealth and system testing in a doctor’s office. Work created in collaboration with Honeywell.

Využitie SEPA inštrumentov v Slovenskej republike

One of the key goal of European Union was create single europe payments in countries in European economic community on the base of principals of the monetary union. Therefore, agencies of the European union created project SEPA, which eases payments system in all countries participated in this project and enables to transfer cross-border payments in same conditions like domestic payments. Thesis professes to characteristic of SEPA, legislative and law standard, which regulates system SEPA. There are described SEPA instruments and institutions of this project. Thesis involves also process, institutions and instruments of SEPA in Slovakia. Practical part of thesis focuses on analysis of data obtained from created questionnaires. It contains an analysis of information, the use, value and impact of the Single European natural and legal persons of Slovakia as participants cashless payments based on a questionnaires.
