Resume - Criminological victimology The aim of my thesis is to point out the necessity to provide victims of the crime with the sufficient protection in accordance with the international obligations which the Czech republic has commited to. The topic of this paper is the criminological teachings about the victim of the criminal act ( Criminological victimology). The first part defines and characterises basic terminology concerning victimology. It deals with the particular part of the criminological victimology field and the implication of the victimology for the penal law together with prevention of the criminality. The main part of the paper explains the English term stalking, analyzes the appearance and broadness of this crime with respect to its victims in both international and domestic scale. It refers to not only contemporary studies but focuses also on valid and prepared legislative steps in this field. The following part highlights one of the forms of stalking - cyberstalking, which is becoming a hot topic these days due to development of electronic medias.
