Social fieldwork with the elderly

The work deals with social fieldwork with the elderly. The teoretical part in the first chapter describes old age, aging, physical and psychological changes in old age and the needs of the elderly. The second chapter is devoted to the family of the elderly and its importance in caring for them in cooperation with field social services. The third capter deals with social fieldwork - care service and personal assistance and care allowance. It also describes the field social services of the organization Charita Horažďovice. The practical part of the thesis contains research, the aim of which is determine the adequacy of the services offered by Charita Horažďovice and the need to expand the services by personal assistance. The research was conducted among the clients - elderly of Charita Horažďovice.

Effects of LTV, DTI and DSTI ratios on retail mortgage market. Evidence from the Czech Republic

The thesis analyses the effects of credit-related borrower-based macroprudential measures - loan-to-value (LTV), debt-to-income (DTI) and debt service-to-income (DSTI) ratios - on retail mortgage market in the Czech Republic. These lending instruments, which target mainly borrowers and restrict the amount of money borrowed relative to the value of underlying collateral (LTV) or client's disposable income (DTI, DSTI), represent a non-negligible part of macroprudential policy. This entry barrier should act in a preventive manner to protect borrowers from taking high-amount and high-risk mortgages and eventually curb excessive private sector leverage. After the introduction and implementation of limits in the Czech Republic, the supply of loans with risky parameters declined, the share of non-performing mortgage loans decreased, and the rise in house price index decelerated. In 2019, the volume of new mortgage loans declined by 13.6 % year-over-year compared to the previous year and the spiral between increasing credit financing of property purchases and rising property prices slightly weakened.

Art Activities Motivations in Leisure Time of Seniors - project Handicrafts and Profession

The diploma work is devided into two parts, theoretical and practical one. Theoretical part concerns about defining of terms such as motivation, seniors and leisure time of them, style of their leisure time. It is aimed at trainig of memory with seniors as well. This part takes knowledge from the books and connects these topics. Practical part connects to theoretical one and applies it to use. The topic of project is Handicrafts and profession and through momories tries to motivate to creative activities. Though it there is improvement of memory, creativity, fantasy, flexibility of hand and social contact too.
