Key words: burnout, stress, medical personnel, pedagogic personnel, burnout prevention Baccalaureate thesis deals with burnout of medical and pedagogic personnel. It refers to symptoms, incidence and prevention of burnout and compares burnout incidence among both the groups, respectively. Thesis is divided in theoretic and experimental part. Surveyed sample is formed by pedagogic personnel, medical personnel of district nurse, psychiatric department nurse and remedial gymnast. Stress is put on the accompanying signs and factors of the burnout.

The breastfeeding from the view of woman

This diploma work is focusing on the contemporary problems of brestfeeding from the view of woman. There is described the newest knowledge of breastfeeding in the theoretical part, the history, meening and the psychology of the breastfeeding. The practical part is focusing on the mother's attitude towards the breastfeeding, mother's own experiences, opinions and valuations. This part is also looking for the factors affecting the duration and the quality of the breastfeeding.

Relation between a doctor and a nurse

This dissertation is meant to be both theoretical and empirical, focused on characterization of a relation between a doctor and a nurse, and on an ascertainment of doctors' attitude towards nurses. A man's position and functioning inside a group is defined in the theoretical part from a sociology point of view. A special attention is paid to social conditions of work as well as problems of social contacts among people. A doctor's and nurse's occupation is assessed here from a historical point of view as well. The main emphasis is laid upon describing a relation between a doctor and a nurse. I described here a mutual relation between the two groups including possible interactions between them from a gender point of view. Reasons of possible conflicts between doctors and nurses are given here. A description and a possibility of a due communication among medical staff and a strategy of an improvement of their mutual relation is another necessary part. A research part of the dissertation is focused on an ascertainment of doctors' attitude towards nurses. I wondered what the current standard of a relation between doctors and nurses was, whether a nurse was an equivalent partner for a doctor and whether he considered her to be a real specialist in sector of nursing. Problematics of the Nicotine Dependence

This work takes as an aim to analyse the contemporary situation of nicotinism in Karlovy Vary region. The smoking presents a serious social problem at the present times for leading to many premature deaths, and to the sequence of serious disorders. The introducing part of the work deals with the theoretical knowledge of the nicotine dependence, and its efficiency for human organism, its medication as well as the prevention. The research part finds the bearings of the nicotinism prevalence in the population Karlovy Vary region of the at the age of 15 up to more years. This study compares the nicotinism situation of Karlovy Vary region with the one in Czech Republic.

Stress in Immature Newborns' Mothers

The target of this thesis is to identify stressors affecting mothers of immature newborns during their hospitalization in the neonatal department. It presents the problems of an immature newborn's premature birth and deals with the moter's psychical sphere and, at the same time, with the crisis intervention. The research part maps cirkumstances of the conception and the baby's premature birth and focuses on the analysis of the situacion of mothers after a premature birth.
