Music director, music and software three agents of programing music in radio

This work deals with the interaction of human and non-human actors in the creative process. Its basic point is the notion of a socio-technological order, which works with equal access to human and non-human actors in social processes. The work is inspired by concepts from the selected studies, science and technology (Science and Technology Studies). Research follows the interaction of human and non-human entities using the example of programming music on the radio, namely the Czech Radio station for young listeners, Radio Wave. Field research was based on monitoring the interaction of three key players in the process of programming: music, selector software (used for programming most music radio stations worldwide) and the music director. The observation of mutual cooperation, induced effects, pressures, manipulation and the transformation of actors provides a comprehensive look at the creative process in which the software is not just a passive tool in the hands of its active user and music is not just obedient material in the hands of the reigning human creator, the music director. Discoursive Changes of Czech Sci-fi in the Context of 20th Century

This diploma is concerned with an analysis of the czech science fiction in a context of the 20th century with a regard to the period translations of english, american and soviet Sci - fi into Czech. The theoratical part will be devoted to a definition of the terms used in this work, mainly of term Science Fiction, with a try to a determination of a proper methodology of my research. There will be shortly dealed the progress of the american Science fiction in this part. The main content of this diploma will be an analysis of the speech of chosen texts from the era of the 30th till 80th years. In the conclusion there will be defined the changes of the language used in the genre of Science Fiction in a relation to the changes of epistemological horizon of the era based on these analytical probes.
Long Way from Alien Civilizations to Elvis: Genre Divergence in Czech Fantasy after 1989

In this bachelor{\crq}s work I deal with the origin and development of fantasy literature in Czech environment with paying regard to the worldwide context. In the first part I define the terms fantastika, horror, science fiction and fantasy along with the basic stereotypes that occur within fantasy literature. Next I concentrate on a brief outline of history of world fantasy as well as the history of fantasy in the context of Czech literature. In the second part I suggest definitions of individual fantasy subgenres that appeared in our country after 1989 and I deal with their origin and development in Czech literature and world literature. There is also an analysis and comparison of chosen works of contemporary Czech authors.
