Intelligent Control of Traffic Lights
Skoták, Miloš ; Samek, Jan (referee) ; Malačka, Ondřej (advisor)
In this thesis is analyzed Multi-Agent system for intelligent control of traffic lights. For the simulation of a real situation was implemented a simulator of a traffic situation written in Java language, which is based on a cellular automata. In Multi-Agent system can be found not only communication between the agent and environment, but also communication among agents. To implement the rules was used extended AgentSpeak language model based on BSD with Jason interpreter. Experiments were done on a real road section in the city Brno.
User Decision and the Paradox of Choice in WWW
Smolík, Jakub ; Malačka, Ondřej (referee) ; Samek, Jan (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis deals with the theory of decision making of web users. Therefore, it analyzes theories of phenomena such as the paradox of choice with closer focus on the concept of usability in applications. Based on previous theories, the work describes the selection, revision and testing of specific web application in context with term of the usability. The thesis also analyzes the methodology, procedures, measurement results and conclusions of testing. As a result, there were made few general recommendations for designers of internet applications that can help in the process of designing more usable systems.
Web Application for Organizing Scientific Papers with Reference Search
Melkes, Miloslav ; Malačka, Ondřej (referee) ; Samek, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the development of an web application for organizing scientic papers with citations search on web portals of scientic papers. On the web application users manage their library of documents or can search of public documents in the application. The thesis contains informations about citation formats, web portals of scientic papers and applications for manage documents. In this work is also described application design, technologies for application development and the implementation, which is focus on work with documents and citations. The final section provides comparison with software of similar functionality.
Simple Tone Generator
Malačka, Ondřej ; Bidlo, Michal (referee) ; Herrman, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with simple tone generation on FITkit. The main goal of this thesis was to design and to implement aplication for tone generation. Simple tone entry is via PS/2 keyboard. System implementation consists of two parts, description of configuration for FPGA and implementation of microcontroler in programming language C. Microcontroller is used for tone generation and taking control of LCD display and keyboard. Peripherals controllers are implemented in FPGA. It is possible not only generate simple tones, but also generate several simple tones at the same time. Generated tones are also displayed on LCD.
Intelligent Log Book
Holuša, Václav ; Samek, Jan (referee) ; Malačka, Ondřej (advisor)
The topic of this thesis is the proposal and creation of the Intelligent Log Book application, which is used for user-friendly view of the company vehicle's rides history. Data can be analyzed to check exceeding of the speed limit or unreasonable standing with running engine. Vehicles and their tracks are plotted into Google Maps. Application is deployed in a specific company. Its employees provided cooperation during development. Project is implemented as a web-based application due to request for usage on different machines (PC, mobile phone) and different platforms.
Trust and Reputation in Distributed Systems
Malačka, Ondřej ; Samek, Jan (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
The goal of this master's thesis is to design and implement agent system for dealing with sportsmen. It will be possible to apply trust and reputation principles on this system. This system is implemented in Jason agent language. Agents there posing as sports club managers. The main target of these managers is to have the maximal profit. The environment of agents is changing by playing the matches between the teams. Players quality evalution follows the played matches. Based on played matches, managers can evaluate the worth of each player and trade them in order to achieve the maximal possible profit. Untrustworthy agents take a place in this system. These agents overvalue their players using inccorect behavior. The experiments will be made within this masters's thesis in order to compare gain of apllication trust and reputation principles.
Implementation of the Robotic Vacuum Cleaner
Sojka, Stanislav ; Malačka, Ondřej (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes the algorithms and methods of control of robotic vacuum cleaners in an unknown environment. It describes the principles of methods and their limitations. The thesis also describes the implementation of important sections of control algorithms. The work examines problems with localization that have occurred in the control algorithm on creating a real robot. The results of the work are two applications, one for remote control robot according to these algorithms, the second for their demonstration without owning a robot.
Evaluation of Trust or Reputation Based on Social Network Analysis
Švec, Tomáš ; Malačka, Ondřej (referee) ; Samek, Jan (advisor)
This thesis' goal is to apply the terms trust and reputation from the point of view of artificial intelligence to social network analysis methods. It evaluates current available interactions for a model of trust considering various social networks. A mathematical model of trust for Facebook is designed and described in further parts. This model had been implemented in Python programming language. Experiments regarding this thesis are conducted on a sample amount of Facebook users and furthermore analyzed from the perspective of both artificial intelligence and social psychology.
