Cover promissory note / Cover bill of exchange
Mařík, Jakub ; Patěk, Daniel (advisor) ; Čech, Petr (referee)
Cover promissory note / Cover bill of exchange Abstract The diploma thesis focuses on the topic of a cover promissory note (also meant cover bill of exchange), currently referred to as a secured promissory note in practice and jurisprudence. The aim of the thesis is to provide a qualified answer to the question of whether the cover promissory note is of a secured nature or whether it is a consolidation instrument. This raises the further question of whether it is justified to call this instrument a secured promissory note. To achieve the aim of the thesis, the sub-features of the cover promissory note are analysed, which provide the basis for a qualified answer to the research question. The thesis is divided into eight chapters. A brief historical introduction in the first chapter serves to clarify the promissory note context. A significant contribution of this thesis is a comparison of the treatment of the domestic cover promissory note with the Anglo-Saxon cover promissory note, including an explanation of the differences in the acquisition of the promissory note. For background, the second chapter introduces the general promissory note concepts of the Anglo-Saxon promissory note law. The law of the cover promissory note is a combination of the law of bills of exchange and the contract law. The...
Passenger cars' automatic gearboxes
Kubát, Aleš ; Mařík, Jakub (advisor) ; Kotek, Martin (referee)
The aim of this work was to evaluate the development of automatic transmissions in modern automobiles to monitor their reliability and make an evaluation. First, the paper mentions the theoretical definition of automatic transmissions and then a practical assessment of automatic transmissions in terms of fuel consumption, maintenance costs or failure. The work also included comparisons of passenger cars with automatic transmission cars with manual transmissions for modern cars. The conclusion summarizes the conclusions which I reached in my testing, research and personal experiences. The work is finished evaluating the advantages of the use of automatic transmissions in passenger cars and outlining where they will lead the development and utilization of automatic transmissions.
Handling technique and storage of materials in warehouse management of automotive industry
Sosvor, Michal ; Dvořák, František (advisor) ; Mařík, Jakub (referee)
The aim of this bachelor thesis was to evaluate the effectivity of automotive industry logistic system functions and its handling technology. The material income and its subsequent control is summarized in the chapter Material receipt. The material storage is there outlined as well. Material export, distribution and package is reviewed in chapter Material release. The chapters automatic identification, handling technology and rack system are included as well. The result of the study is the proposal of effective solutions for everyday service acceleration. The thesis is completed by discussion on the matter.
Stirling engine
Blažek, Petr ; Hromádko, Jan (advisor) ; Mařík, Jakub (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to introduce the Stirling engine, to evaluate its potential use in practice and to propose possible further development in this area. The first part is devoted to the historical development of the Stirling engine. The next part contains brief explanation of its function, describes the individual components, introduces all modifications and evaluates the main advantages and disadvantages. The last part deals with the use of the engine with respect to its properties, structure and possible design.
Braking systems of trucks and tractors
Vomáčka, Jiří ; Miler, Petr (advisor) ; Mařík, Jakub (referee)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to overview trucks and tractors braking systems to describe their function, construction and utilization. The thesis begins with the basic division of the braking systems then it is focused on a principle and construction of the specific braking systems. The next part is devoted to a construction, principles and a comparison of the deceleration brakes, which are the engine break, the exhaust brake and retarders. In the end of my work I tried to make prognoses of developing trends and future prospects.
Analysis of power generators operating parameters
Kouba, Robert ; Hromádko, Jan (advisor) ; Mařík, Jakub (referee)
The theoretical part of this thesis gives a basic description of construction parts, functions, use and basic division of power generators. Fundamental indicators that play their role in electrical engineering and in the issue of power generators as such are also mentioned. For instance the requirements for the reliability of the electrical energy, or possible defects on the electricity network while using a backup power supply. The historical development of engines has also got its space in the thesis, mainly due to them being the fundamental functional element of mobile power sources. The practical part aims on the choice of a suitable power generator for the canteen building of Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, according to given operating parameters. The power generators have been described with the help of RENTAL company, who is also the provider of said generators. The conclusion shows an economic evaluation of the pros and cons of buying a new power generator or just renting one, and it also describes the estimated evolution of power generators in general.
Determining of Oil Change Interval of Tractors
Pavlišta, Libor ; Hönig, Vladimír (advisor) ; Mařík, Jakub (referee)
The aim of this diploma thesis was determination of tractor engines oil drain interval. In theoretical chapters is described theoretical background of the field of engines lubrication and issue of use of motor oils in practice. The drain intervals were determined using a tribotechnical diagnosis of collected samples of a motor oil from tractors. The analysis of the samples were processed in a laboratory and the dominant parameters that influence the wear of the oil were detected. On the basis of the application of a trend analysis were determined the reference values of the levels of oil degradation. After taking the evaluation and discussion of the results were defined oil drain intervals for the tractors. At the end there was made an evaluation of the results and operational recommendations. The thesis includes also an economical evaluation.
