A Musculoskeletal Ergonomics Specialist: A New Work Position

The objective of the thesis is the elaboration of a business plan and the establishment a position of expert in the field of musculoskeletal ergonomics. The work deals with the analysis environment and competition in this area, as well as constructing a marketing mix, costing and budget. Special part of the thesis deals with the economic impacts caused by musculoskeletal, disorders with respect to work activities, prevention, of such, disorders, and, the advantages and disadvantages of establishing of a new working position musculoskeletal ergonomics area.

Orientation of a real vector space

In this thesis, we focus on creating a visual understanding of orientation of a real vector space and its subsequent connection to the mathematical definiton. As a result, this thesis can be used as supplementary material in higher education or serve as in- spiration for teachers. First, we develop the idea behind the equivalence of two bases, then we examine its connection to permutations of vectors in ortonormal basis, moti- vating the definition of parity of permutation. We continue by observing the behavior of the equivalence during a transition to the opposite half-space, noting the connection to volumes, and based on that, we motivate the concept of determinants. Next, we delve into the method of computing determinants, providing a complete derivation. Finally, we demonstrate how the determinant of a transition matrix between two bases relates to their equivalence and we define the orientation of vector space. 1

Political awareness and engagement of Czech highschool students

This diploma thesis puts into context political awareness and engagement of young people due to their educational process at secondary schools. Its goal is to evaluate fulfilment of the objectives previously set on the Czech grammar schools level. Specific focus is given on key competences which widen political and civic skills of pupils. With the help of extensive quantitative questionnaire which deals with geopolitical topics and following specifically targeted qualitative interviews, level of political awareness and factors which influence it are both verified. Quantitative survey proves sufficient level of political knowledge among grammar schools students and also positive influence of school as an institution thanks to special seminars. At the same time it confirms much higher level of knowledge in comparison with secondary schools students. Personal interviews with selected students verify their high level of political commitment; on the other hand respondents do not acknowledge influence of school in this particular topic. As study proves, factors which affect followed variables originate more likely from free time activities. Also gender and as far as school is concerned, only theme of special seminars is important. Cross product

In this thesis, we try to indicate a way of obtaining cross product. We use a method of adding conditions de ning a vector, until we are left with the only one that ts them. The text is written in such way that a highschool student should by able to understand it, therefore it can be used as an inspiration for teachers teaching cross product at schools. First, we search for a vector perpendicular to two given linearly independent vectors in 3D. Then we study the area of a parallelogram, which is determined by two linearly independent vectors. Also, we try to express the area using coordinates of these vectors with respect to the cartesian basis. Afterwards, we indicate what an orien- tation of a vector space is and formalize it mathematically. Then we de ne cross product and show some of its basic properties while giving the reader an idea of the eld of their usage. 1

It deals with the analysis of present inventory management situation, especially through the use of ABC-analysis. On the basis of executed analyses are made recommendations to ensure the improvement in inventory management.

This bachelor thesis is intended mainly for elderly people, who have no or minimal experiences with computers. The first part is focused on computer and internet connection choice and analyses current situation on the market. The author warns of problems that are linked to the choice of hardware, software and internet connection. In the second part are introduced chosen internet services, which could be useful for beginners. The third part deals with health hazards that are connected to the using of computers.
