Controlling of a non-manufacturing company

The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of controlling tools, which are essential for improving the processes of non-manufacturing companies. This non-manufacturing company is a company that provides services in the field of professional freight transport, forwarding or customs and logistics services. The analyzed controlling tools are mainly operational tools, namely planning and budgeting, analysis of the break-even point, calculation of costs per kilometer, as well as analysis of the efficiency of the operation of company's vehicles and analysis of the efficiency of dispatchers. Data and all information needed to process the practical part are obtained directly from the economic department of the company. Part of the diploma thesis is the evaluation of the individual controlling tools applied in the company and proposals for suitable recommendations for optimizing the controlling activities of this company.

The thesis contains a set of examples with solutions and also a theoretical part, where all the concepts and characteristics are explained. The set contains typical examples from statistics found in textbooks and also examples based on real data provided by various institutions.

Analysis of the financial stability of the agricultural holding

The bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of the financial position of an agricultural enterprise using financial indicators - differential indicators, ratios and bankruptcy and creditworthy models. Specific data for the calculations of financial analysis indicators were obtained from the financial statements - the balance sheet and the profit and loss account. The analysis of financial statements is performed in a time line of seven years. The results of the financial analysis of the farm are compared with the results of the same indicators of an average enterprise in comparable production and climatic conditions, which is selected from the public Internet database FADN.

Posibilities of working with William Shakespeares work in teaching literature at high school

1 Graduation thesis conserns possibilites of working with William Shakesperes work in teaching literature at high school. Its essence is veryfiing proposed activities in praxis and reflexion of results achieved. Methods that I propose in this thesis results from creative teaching conception and are inspired by creative methods. Source publications for proposed activities are The Merchant of Venice and Othello, the Moore of Venice. In the thesis I summarize term of creativity, conception of creative teaching and its goals. I attend to possibilities and difficulties of application of this conception in teaching literature. Common goal of those activities is to get pupils in direct contact with literature and its interpretation by attractive and understandable way. I give reason for proposed activities by partial goals that I want to forfill with them, I introduce description and instructions for use. In reflections I evaluate the process, reaching goals, possibilities of evaluating and possible organization troubles. Conclusions of the thesis are derivated from results of activities, observation and pupils reflections. I see benefit of my work in gaining experience and findings for my further praxi 2

Working Conditions in the Developing Countries: The Effect of the International Organizations

This thesis is focused on the labor conditions of garment industry in developing countries. The text is structured as a comparative case study that is concerned with the situation in Cambodia and Bangladesh. Case studies of these countries describe domestic garment industry, its general and specific problems and a rate of compliance with labor standards. The goal of the thesis is to determine whether international organizations have an influence on the improvement of labor conditions in developing countries and compare it with other relevant actors. In this particular case the attention is focused on the International Labor Organization which manages its supportive programs in both countries but in a different manner. A pilot ILO program focused on the private sector has started in Cambodia thirteen years ago while in Bangladesh ILO had managed to run traditional program focused on the public sector until the Rana Plaza tragedy. Moreover, in the case of Bangladesh is a characterization of change after the tragedy. The thesis examines innovative ILO program that focuses on the monitoring of the garment factories, its functioning and outcomes.
