Icontherapy from view of the clients
MRÁZOVÁ, Anna
The thesis will be dedicated to the topic of iconotherapy, which the author already addressed in her bachelor's thesis. In the theoretical chapters, she presents iconotherapy. At the same time, it will clarify the theological views on the essence of icons as well as psychological connections (problems of motivation and will) and psychotherapeutic directions that are somewhat related to iconotherapy (logotherapy, existential approach of I. Yalom, orthodox psychotherapy). The work will include qualitative research, which will be carried out through in-depth semi-structured interviews with people who have undergone iconotherapy. A consideration of the possible application of iconotherapy will also be included.
Growing up bilingually: A survey into the aspects of language acquisition when two different languages are learned at the same time
MRÁZOVÁ, Anna
This bachelor thesis focuses on the linguistic aspects of growing up in a bilingual environment. The aim of the thesis is to gain an insight into the life of bilingual families experiencing early bilingualism in their children, to reflect on these experiences from the perspective of both parents and bilingual individuals and compare these two views. The thesis includes a theoretical introduction to bilingualism in children. The analytical part presents the undertaken research, in which the experiences examining the bilingualism of eight families with children who learn two languages at the same time from early childhood were investigated.
Interactions between plants, herbivorous insect and predators: mechanisms and ecological importance
MRÁZOVÁ, Anna
The thesis describes the interactions between the three trophic levels from different perspectives. It focuses on the role of plants, herbivorous insect, and invertebrate predators and birds in trophic interactions. More specifically, it describes indirectly induced plant defence and communication with higher taxa and changes in predation pressure and insect communities in response to defensive chemical compounds released from herbivory-damaged plants.
Prevention of breast cancer
Mrázová, Anna ; Šafář, Petr (advisor) ; Černá, Milena (referee)
Breast cancer is the most frequently diagnosed cancer in women, after skin cancer, and the leading cause of cancer death among women. It occurs in both men and women, although male breast cancer is rare. Breast cancer incidence is on the rise globally, with the highest rates occurring in developed countries. Some reasons for this trend include dietary changes, decreased activity and changes in reproductive patterns. Although breast cancer incidence is on the rise, breast cancer mortality has been stagnating. The exact cause of breast cancer is not clearly known. Studies have identified many risk factors, which increase the chance of developing breast cancer. The most important risk factors are sex, age, personal history of breast cancer, family history of breast cancer, early menarche, nuliparity, late menopause, atypical hyperplasia, obesity and radiation to the chest. The common donominator for many of these risk factors is their effect on the level and duration of exposure to endogenous estrogen. Breast cancer, like all cancers, develops because of defects in DNA. The cancer-causing DNA defects can be inherited, or may develop during adult life. Inherited DNA defects account for only 5-10 % of breast cancers and they are mainly associated with mutations in...
Communication of Czech Wine Associations (VOC) in the Digital Era
Mrázová, Anna ; Koudelková, Petra (advisor) ; Wolák, Radim (referee)
Social media has been getting more and more attention from common users as well as businesses. Although the level of social media adoption varies by sector and geographical location, all companies strive to understand which social media platforms adopt and how to effectively use them. There is a specific position for the winery sector, which is widely recognised as traditional. However, more and more people search for information, share information and purchase goods or services online, which made presence on social media inevitable even for wineries. There is a body of literature concerning wineries' social media adoption and usage, however there is none of such kind to be found in the Czech Republic. Thus, this paper's aim is to fill this gap and to find out to what extent do Czech wineries use social media and why. This paper investigates 96 responses from wineries from all regions of the Czech Republic. The evidence is that the common communication channels of Czech wineries are rather traditional, being it personal communication, email or phone. However, the level of social media adoption in comparison with Australia, Germany or New Zealand is rather high. Although Czech wineries value social media, there is a significant lack of knowledge in how to use them efficiently.

Vycítí hmyzožraví ptáci rostliny volající o pomoc?
MRÁZOVÁ, Anna
Two chapters in this thesis try to explain whether insectivorous birds can smell volatile compounds released by plants attacked by herbivorous insect, and use them as a cue to locate prey rich plants. First chapter describes field experiments with chemical induction of volatile compounds similar to those released during real herbivory. Second chapter depicts foraging behaviour of birds towards trees with "true" herbivory caused by live caterpillars in a cage experiment.
Interspecific agression of the common treecreeper \kur{(Certhia familiaris)} and short-toed treecreeper \kur{(Certhia brachydactyla)}.
MRÁZOVÁ, Anna
Interspecific agression is well studied in birds but without unamiguous summarized results. I observed responses of the degree of con- and heterospecific agression between European species of treecreepers, which are found in South Bohemia syntopically.
