New Old Brno Return of living to the city centres

Graduation theses is an urban study of city dictrict Staré Brno. A new breakthrough of the old development is planned for the creation of a new avenue in the designed area. The proposal deals with the sensitive completion of the city around the new avenue.
Y Soft Campus - the semi-abandoned shooting range area in Brno-Pisarky

The new headquarters of Y Soft is divided into three objects, both functional and visual. The main building consists of a five-storey block with an internal atrium, followed by a ribbed three-storey structure. The entire complex ends one-storey production, half-floored in the slope. The playful facade of the first object complements the regular lines of the ribbed object. The facade is faced by the same manufacturer with the same pattern, but with another shade, gray and brown. The third facade is made of concrete. All three buildings unify the same material and color of window frames and the type of exterior blinds.

The thesis deals with the current state of the countryside. Especially the issues related to agricultural landscapes and their shortcomings and other related issues. Literature search, in addition to the general description of the contemporary countryside, its condition and functions, the literature search is also dedicated to the countryside of the South Moravian Region, which is then related to the selected model object Tvrdonice, which is located in this region. Literature search also seeks to outline the above-mentioned issues of agricultural landscapes and to focus on possible solutions. One of the main problems is the perception of wind erosion and the poor and dysfunctional condition of many existing windbreaks. That is why a part of the proposals focusing on the gradual renewal of existing windbreaks and proposing their new network are also addressed. The design section is also dedicated to wetland, mainly to exploit landscape potential and increase the ecological stability of the area and to support biodiversity.

The aim of the Bachelor thesis is penetrate to issue of intensive prennial beds and especially to their maintenance, because it is demanding for work and finance. Providing money to public greenery has long been a problem rather than a joy, rationalization provision are a welcome topic. Problem of disproportionate maintenance, can be affacted by establishing. Establishing of perennial bed is influenced by the preparation habitat and the selection of plant, selection of plant should be justified and dependent on the conditions of the future habitat. It should be used the properties of perennials and improving materials or methods, it can be mulching, using of soil conditioners and slowly dissolving fertilizers, using properties of climbing plants or extensive perennial beds. Part of the thesis is the practical terrain experiment too, that was proposed with a focus on mulching materials. Based on found informations, can be accessed to intensive perennial beds with a diffrent view, that can be reduced works and financial expenses with rationalization provision.
