Turkey and Strategic Interests of the EU - Analysis of the Migrant Crisis

The EU-Turkey relations have been complicated for over fifty years, namely since the Ankara Agreement. The civil war in Syria broke out in 2011 and since then Turkey has been struggling with the rise of migrants. The migration crisis affected the EU in 2015. Therefore, the cooperation between the EU and Turkey to solve migration crisis was necessary. This diploma thesis engages in communication and negotiation between the EU and Turkey about a common action to solve the migration crisis. Karl Deutsch's communication theory was chosen as the theoretical framework. We can namely observe the concept of feedback during the negotiations of joint Action Plan and joint statement to tackle irregular migration. First is explained the history and development of the EU-Turkey relations. The history of the EU-Turkey relations is explained since Turkey applied for association to the European Economic Community. The EU-Turkey relations are affected by bad relations between Turkey and some EU member states. Currently, the EU-Turkey relations are more complicated because of the purges and human rights abuse after the unsuccessful coup attempt in 2016. The impacts of economics crisis in road transport

This thesis is dedicated to the impact of the economic crisis in the transport sector in the Czech Republic, focusing on the road transport sector. This thesis is presented with the brief overview about the origin of the economic crises, what are its causes, impacts and possible prevention, which can prevent this situation. The theoretical part also describes not only the transport sector as whole, its development and current status but also gives further information about road transport. The practical part of this thesis is focused on analyzing macroeconomic indicators in the Czech Republic and determination if their development affected some indicators in the road transportation. The main result of this thesis will be interpreted on the basis of selected statistical methods. The second aim of this thesis is to analyze the impacts of the crisis on the selected company, which conducts in the road transport and propose to this company the options which would allow the impact of the economic crisis on its business activities.
Pricing of transport infrastructure (focused on the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary)

This work deals with the pricing of transport infrastructure, not only road, but also railway transport, in the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary and in Slovakia. In introduc-tory theoretic part there is a description of present situation of transport infrastructure, history of pricing of transport infrastructure and further information about road and railway transportation. The application section also describes the current state of road and rail transport in selected countries, indicates the individual charges, analyses usabil-ity of road and rail transport for selected countries and proposes the changes that would affect prices of tolling for foreign carriers.
