Short path optical wireless link design

This diploma thesis is focused on design and prototyping of wireless optical link for an indoor usage. In the beginning of the thesis frequency spectrums of infrared, visible and ultraviolet light are described by its typical qualities such as values of attenuation or reflection capability. On the basis of this analysis, a proper wavelength has been chosen for usage at the engineered communication system. Next part is devoted to selection of suitable communication components on basis of its declared qualities. In the following chapter this qualities are in carefully measured and after that they are compared with values provided by its manufacturer. The following section is devoted to design schemes of transceiver modules. After completion of the design the manufacturing of PCB, mounting components and the analysis of their distribution was described. The last part of this thesis deals with testing of created prototype in terms of maximum transmission distances and operating frequencies. At the very end of this project, in one small section ways to improve system characteristics was discussed.

Basic methods of reflectometry

This bachelor thesis is focused on physical method called reflectometry and it deals with problem of detection faults in cables and its formatting. This thesis describe the posibility of aplication of this method to a coaxial or an optical cable. Theoretical part of this project is devided in two parts. First part is about a coaxial reflektometry and second part is about an optical reflectometry. Both methods are desribed by block diagrams and even by analysis of real machines. Due to modern devices, we are able to find out in very short time the cable lenght or if the cable is damaged. Because of this ability the reflectometer is very valuable and powerful tool and the research in this technical sector is intesive. Final part of this bachelor thesis inscribe the proposal of laboratorial work, which should introduce the reflectometry to other students.

Execution by sale of real estate The presented rigorous thesis titled "Execution by sale of real estate" aims to describe and analyze the current legislation concerning real estate as a subject to execution proceedings. The thesis should offer potential solutions for the described problematic parts of an execution, such as the issue of conflict between the execution procedure and the insolvency procedure. In terms of its content, the rigorous thesis consists of eight parts. The first chapter of the rigorous thesis focuses on the definition of the essential terms of enforcement proceedings, the substantial institutions, and legal provisions which are connected to the enforcement. Essential principles of the enforcement proceedings are described in the beginning: the principle of party disposition, the principle of officiality, the principle of proportionality and the principle of defense and protection of the debtor. Then, the thesis analyzes the position of the judicial officer in the legal system and focuses on the legal consequences concerning the commencement of execution proceedings. Successful vs. failed reorganization

The Master's Thesis is focused on reorganization as bankruptcy solution according to Act No. 182/2006 Coll., Bankruptcy and Settlement (Insolvency Act), as amended. With a usage of comparison method, it analyses two specific insolvency proceedings which were solved in past and on the basis of their mutual comparison identify important factors that were crucial to determine different results of the proceedings. The main goal of the thesis is to uncover the factors affecting the insolvency proceeding positively or negatively. In first theoretical part there is the analysis of Insolvency Act. The results and knowledge gained in the first part are applied to a comparison in the second one where various data from financial reports and index IN05 are used. These values together with IN05 model are applied as a reflection of important moments which had underlying influence on reorganization process result. In the end of the thesis there is the summary of all gained facts and also different important negative and positive factors are revealed. The thesis shows that it is very difficult to anticipate the result of reorganization for external subject.
