This thesis looks into the problematics of secure semantically-based discovery of resources in REST-ful architecture. The subject of this thesis is the implementation and potential extension of the mRDP for secure discovery of resources in REST-ful architecture, including the implementation of a corresponding open-source library compatible with the Android operating system. Another topic of this thesis is the implementation of simple example applications using this library.

Pocket Lectures: Android app for Off-Line Viewing of FIT Lectures

This thesis is concerned with the design, development and implementation of an application for the Android operating system. This application fulfills the function of downloading and offline playback of recordings of lectures. During the playback of the recordings, it is possible to search based on the entered text or on the basis of the selection of a specific slide discussed in the class. The application allows you to download the lectures in various quality, based on the user's selection.

Qeustions of open source licenses in public administration

Cílem práce je poskytnout pohled na celou problematiku open source, především z úhlu jeho využití ve státní správě. Úvod práce se zabývá především pojmem open source jako takovým, dále uvádí nejčastěji používané open-source licence a podrobněji se jim věnuje. Následují teoretické výhody a nevýhody open-source softwaru oproti softwaru s uzavřeným kódem a tuto část uzavírá krátká analýza současného rozsahu využití open-source licencovaných aplikací. Další část se pak zabývá praktickými příklady využití tohoto softwaru ve státní správě, specifiky této oblasti a konečně i vývojem k němuž zde dochází.
