Alfred de Musset and his dramatic work

The purpose of this study is to define different types of love in selected theatre plays of Alfred de Musset. I also partly focused in his plays on social questions, negative characters and unconventional theatrical methods. At first I introduced the work and important moments of writer's life which were often an inspiration for his stories and characters. I also outlined the brief history of romantic theatre and finally analyzed the theatre plays. The selected analyzes include the extracts illustrating the types of loves or unique traits of characters. The contribution of this study consists in defining the original method the author used to describe the profundity of the feelings of his characters.
