Background has 3 floors and a partial basement. The structural system is a wall with a gable roof with dormers. Hall has a supporting structure made of steel and is partially sunk below ground level.
Hygrothermal response of building components
Slávik, Richard ; Šťastník, Stanislav (referee) ; Vertál´,, Marián (referee) ; Kalousek, Miloš (advisor)
This dissertation thesis is focused on the study of simultaneous transport of heat and moisture in building components. First, the introduction briefly summarises current international state of the art in assessment and evaluation of building components focused on moisture. Besides description of methodological approaches and analysis of differences between them, the approaches are modelled using examples which help to identify their properties and explain the application framework of the methods. These examples do not only illustrate the procedures; they also indicate their limits and identify the pitfalls of models’ application in comparison with each other. Next, the thesis includes basic introduction to material parameters necessary in numerical modelling. Moreover, solutions to questions from the assignment are discussed from the point of view of the theory of heat and moisture transport. To fulfil the thesis’ objectives, theoretical analysis and calculations were implemented. Calculations were carried out not only by well-known methods, but also using an own-developed complex algorithm which implements simultaneous heat and moisture transport modelling based on finite element methods and which allows to implement nonlinear behaviour of material properties. Furthermore, the thesis contains description of and results from two experiments. A brief description of an electronic device developed and used for the experiments is included. Experimental results are confronted with both simplified and advanced theoretical models. At last the thesis concludes with discussion of acquired findings, brief summary of potential contribution of this work to the field of building science and engineering practice, and indication of the directions for further development.
Multifunctional house
Blaha, Ondřej ; Janík, Zdeněk (referee) ; Kalousek, Miloš (advisor)
This final thesis deals with a project documentation of a new multifunctional building. The building is located in Žďár nad Sázavou, in the Neumannova street. The building is divided into residential units and areas for a small company and a shop. The house is projected as a detached building with a partial basement and three floors. The residential part has 8 apartments in total – four apartments with three bedrooms, one with two bedrooms and three with one bedroom. It includes also cellars belonging to the apartments. The non-residential part includes space for a shop and an administrative part consisting of a reception, a meeting room, offices, stores and sanitary facilities. The main entrance in to the residential part is located on the level of staircase half landing. Main entrances into the non-residential parts are on the level of the ground floor. The house dispose with 24 parking places, two of them are dedicated for drivers with disabled parking permit. The building is based on concrete strip foundations. The external load-bearing structures are walled with clay masonry in the floors and with permanent formwork in the basement. The ceiling structure is formed with prestressed floor slabs. The house is covered with a warm flat roof. The staircase is pre-fabricated. In the thesis, there was put a stress on the appropriate dispositional, structural, technical and architectural design and on the safety in the use of the building. The drawing documentation is processed in the AutoCAD.
Family house

Winery Sekt Jan Petrák
Manakova, Anastassiya ; Myslín, Jiří (referee) ; Dýr, Petr (advisor) ; Kalousek, Miloš (advisor)
The objective of this Bachelor Thesis is the design of the Sekt Jan Petrak winery in Kobylí. The Bachelor Thesis expands and specifies an architectural study which was drafted as AG33 subject during the summer semester of the second year (i.e.up to the level of Documentation for Planning Permission and Documentation for Execution of the Project). The considered area lies in the territory of Kobylí and with its slightly rolling landscape is used for agricultural purposes. The building ploat is located down the surrounding buildings. The aim of the bachelor thesis was creating the project of building that will serve its users for quality accomodation for investor and long-term residence for guests as well as for production, presentation and tasting of sparkling wine. Designed object consists of three parts: sale and presentation of sparkling wine, housing for owners and visitors, production. And the main goal was to connect all of the functions so they can complement each other. The Object presents three masses – two main and one subsidiary, which are distinguished by the shape of te roof and the structure of the fasade. The nearest to the access road is a building of a family house, which consists of a publicly accessible two-storey winery, which connects to two large apartments for visitors, and private part - investor apartments. The investor's apartment is illuminated from two sides - southwest and northwest. The living room has a large window opening, which provides beautiful views of the private outdoor terrace and area green. The attic of the family house is designed for accommodation of visitors and tasting of sparkling wine. Through the passage public communication is linked with the production of sparkling wine.
