Kantor, Jan ; Neuwirth, Bernard (referee) ; Klusák, Aleš (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is a design of an information system for Funeral Service Bohumír Kukuczka. The thesis contains design and creation of the system in the Microsoft Access and VBA.
Unsupervised learning
Kantor, Jan ; Sáblík, Václav (referee) ; Honzík, Petr (advisor)
The purpose of this work has been to describe some techniques which are normally used for cluster data analysis process of unsupervised learning. The thesis consists of two parts. The first part of thesis has been focused on some algorithms theory describing advantages and disadvantages of each discussed method and validation of clusters quality. There are many ways how to estimate and compute clustering quality based on internal and external knowledge which is mentioned in this part. A good technique of clustering quality validation is one of the most important parts in cluster analysis. The second part of thesis deals with implementation of different clustering techniques and programs on real datasets and their comparison with true dataset partitioning and published related work.
Ethical Dilemmas of Foster Care
KANTOR, Jan
This bachelor's thesis deals with the aspects of foster care itself and also focuses on social workers who are involved in this branch. The aim of this work is to point out the most common ethical dilemmas, that the social workers in foster care have to deal with. The work has been divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The research also helped to name three most common ethical dilemmas that the social workers have to deal with. This work also describes the aspects that help the social workers to solve these dilemmas. This bachelor's thesis can help social workers in foster care to understand and solve ethical dilemmas or also for further research
