Age profile of swimmers at European and world competitions in 2012-2016

Title: Age profile of swimmers at top competitions in 2012-2016 Target: The goal of the bachelor thesis is to find out the age profile of swimmers at the top world competitions in 2012-2016 in individual disciplines swimming in breaststroke, backstroke, butterfly stroke and positioning in the category of men and women at the level of finishes and finals. Methods: The data was obtained from electronic official sources. The method of data collection was the study of documents (start-up protocols). The data obtained was then recorded, sorted and evaluated by a computer program using descriptive statistics. In the result section, summarized results were presented using tables and graphs. Results: Swimmers had an average age of 22 years, with an average age of 21 years in case of women. In the final races of men, the age of the top performance was 24 years, in women the peak age was at 22 years. There was no significant difference in the average age of swimmers between disciplines. The demonstrable differences in the age of the individual disciplines were reflected in the finals. The highest average age was shown by the finalists in the discipline of 50 m butterfly stroke, 50 m finalist finalists, the lowest average age on the other hand, the 200 m finalists and the finalists in the 100 m discipline....
