The joint stock company with variable capital

Investment Company with Variable Capital (SICAV) The thesis elaborates on the Czech regulation of the investment company with variable capital ("SICAV"). It is divided into six chapters. In chapter one, the theory of collective investments and its practice in the Czech Republic is described, along with data of the use of SICAVs. Next, the legislation concerning SICAVs, and reasons for its introduction, are summarised. Chapter three includes the definition of Czech SICAV and its features as an investment fund and join-stock company. In chapter four, the variability of its capital is discussed in broader context of the Czech law system, which is based on a different conceptual approach, and also the capital requirements of SICAVs are mentioned. Chapter five concerns with the obligatory division of assets of Czech SICAVs, leading to the last chapter describing the founders' and investment shares, and rights of shareholders tied to them. The primary aim of the thesis, in context of an absence of any thorough publications on Czech SICAVs, is to provide a comprehensive description of the distinctive character of Czech SICAVs, and on this basis to point out the parts of legislation that are not set appropriately. Comparison of law requirements solutions in ERP and development of ad hoc application

Master thesis is focused on how a change of Czech law affects functionality of information systems. Content of the work is describing a reactions of information systems suppliers to keep functionality with a current law. Thesis is focused on ERP systems especially SAP, Microsoft Dynamics and Helios. Defining of a new functionality is done by analyzing Value-added tax act, Electronic records of sales act and Accounting act. According to the change of accounting act we develop ad hoc application to keep duty defined by law.

Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Social Sciences Institute of Communication Studies and Journalism Neuromarketing: Theory and Practice (bachelor's thesis), Tomáš Janoušek Abstract This thesis seeks to provide a comprehensive insight into neuromarketing. Neuromarketing is a discipline that uses neuroscientific methods to analyse and understand human behaviour in relation to markets and marketing exchanges. After definitions of related terms of marketing, neuroscience and neuroeconomy, the thesis offers various definitions of neuromarketing itself. Further, it presents an overview of the history and the neuroscientific techniques used by neuromarketing (electroencephalography, functional magnetic resonance imaging, biometrics and others). The theoretical part is divided, in accordance with the customer's decision process, into chapters dealing with attention, conscious and unconscious mental processes, emotions, choice, senses, mirror neurons and brands. The thesis also addresses the neuromarketing practice, including the optimization of marketing communications (in advertising, new media and point-of-sale) and neuromarketing research. The ethical question of the use of neuromarketing is also discussed.
Emise tuhých znečišťujících látek v chovu drůbeže

Agricultural activities produce a number of dangerous wastes affecting the environment. One is powder produced in livestock production, in particular in stables factory farms. Particulate emissions from livestock buildings are particularly important for the closest neighborhood stables. It is the subject of conflicts between farmers and their neighbors. The source of dust in livestock buildings are mainly food (fine particles modified cereals and dried plants) renegade animal skin particles, urine crystals and particles of feces. The aim of this work is to determine the concentration of dust in the factory farming of chickens for meat. Secondly, the aim is to compare BAT (Best Available Technique - Best Available Technology) technology used in stables with the reference document BREF (Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control - Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control). Measurements were carried out on a Farma U lesa in Sudoměřice u Bechyně on a poultry farm in Horní Miletín.
The Development of Payment Methods on the Internet

The bachelor thesis The Development of Payment Methods on the Internet is engaged with problematic of e-commerce in Czech online shops B2C. Thesis should help with decisions of payment method for owners of online shops so for customers. Goals of thesis are these: describe development of payments in online shops B2C; describe and compare payment systems on base of chosen criterions; describe trends and possible future of payment on the internet; to sum up people's experiences with payments on the internet. Development of payments is described in elementary possibilities of three e-shops since 1998 to 2010 every three years. Offer of methods is verified on larger sum of online shops. Payment systems are marked with points which are assigned on base of view of businessman and customer. Using my survey I have summed up people's experiences with payment on the internet. Thesis begins with development of payment methods, then current methods and their score. Thesis ends with description of future trends and possibilities of payments. Last topic of thesis is evaluation experiences based on survey.

From agricultural activities produce a number of hazardous waste affecting the environment. One of them is ammonia produced by animals that are trying to reduce. The aim of this study is to compare the concentration of ammonia in barns with chickens for meat using electrochemically treated water. Furthermore, the aim of this work is to compare the BAT technology used in stables with BAT reference document and perform economic evaluation. Measurements were carried out on the farm Čekanice.
