Verification of methodology MMSP - Test analysis and design on real task
Kukla, Lukáš ; Buchalcevová, Alena (advisor) ; Hyblbauer, Jan (referee)
Bachelor thesis Verification of methodology MMSP - Test analysis and design on real task verifies usability of extended methodology for small software project (MMSP) - Test Analysis and design. This methodology is verified on a real task: Implementation of discount for current account. Usability of methodology is evaluated in terms of whether it is possible to use this methodology to develop a test analysis and design on real task. In a first part of the thesis is described basics of testing, differences between testing environments, types of testing data and the end of the chapter is about the psychology of testing. In the practical part of the thesis is done the test analysis and design based on MMSP - Test analysis and design. Further part of the thesis is a recommendation towards the Cenotvorba project on which the request is implemented. At the end of the thesis are summarized the achieved results and benefits of the work.
Comparison of functional and non-functional tests
Galaš, David ; Hyblbauer, Jan (advisor) ; Buchalcevová, Alena (referee)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to compare functional and non-functional software test types in terms of their overall contribution to successful application testing. The comparison is based on performed test cases and calculated metrics, whose final values are based on values measured during the testing. The theoretical part describes individual functional and non-functional test categories and provides thorough information about each category described. The analytic part focuses on metrics selection and their respective interpretation and provides verified method for metric weight assignment including the calculation of final weights. The practical part includes selected web application testing using manually written test cases and the calculation of defined metrics for each performed test category. This part also contains the evaluation of test categories according to calculated metrics and the final comparison of functional and nonfunctional tests in terms of their overall contribution. The conclusion of the thesis summarizes the results of tests comparison, shows the way the intermediate objectives were achieved and adumbrates possible use of this thesis in the future.
Comparison of online test management and evaluation tools
Bouška, Matěj ; Hyblbauer, Jan (advisor) ; Buchalcevová, Alena (referee)
The thesis deals with the analysis of the online tools for administration and evaluation of tests used for increasing the effectiveness of testing. The aim of this thesis is to select the most appropriate tools based on defined criteria. In the theoretical part, the thesis focuses on the definition of concepts in the field of software application testing and defines a specific area of testing in which the tools for management and evaluation of tests are used. The practical part compares the selected tools according to the comparative criteria defined in the analytical part. Based on benchmarking results, the most appropriate tools for more effective testing of software applications are recommended.
Comparison of defect management tools
Kulíček, Martin ; Hyblbauer, Jan (advisor) ; Buchalcevová, Alena (referee)
In nowadays, the increased use of information systems than ever before. For these, it is necessary to test these systems and provide clear and compherensive information about the resulting defects (errors). These overviews help to do the process of removing defect more effectively. The theoretical part is mainly dedicated search terms related to the topic and clarifies under what circumstances defect arises and what the defect is. The analytical part is an analysis of the market and then defines the basic parameters for comparison tools to manage defects. In the final part leads to the actual comparison of selected tools according to the set criteria of the analytical part and a subsequent recommendation which tool is as a best of set criteria. The content of this thesis is used as overview of properties by tested products, which are available at the market with tools for managing defects. Output of thesis can serve as a credible source of information in process of decission which product to choose according to specified criteria.
Comparison of test progress evaluation tools
Navrátil, Daniel ; Hyblbauer, Jan (advisor) ; Buchalcevová, Alena (referee)
Nowadays, information systems and technologies became an inseparable part of any business. Consequently, the need to ensure quality environment for testing is being increased as well as the need to ensure proper tools for the test evaluation. This thesis explores relevant standards connected to testing and software product quality evaluation, analyses current test management tool market and compares the chosen tools according to defined criterias. Benefit of this thesis is the objective evaluation of chosen, currently available commercial tools and recommendation for potential buyers. Theoretical part is mainly focused on the definition of terms from the software testing and definition of a specific area, in which the tools for test evaluation are used. Definition of comparison criteria and market analysis will be the focus of the analytical part of this thesis. In practical part, chosen tools are compared and according to the results, the recommendation is made for the purpose of choosing the most fitting tool to increase the effectiveness for software testing. This work also includes the showcase of graphic outputs from the compared tools.

Babický, Daniel ; Hyblbauer, Jan (advisor) ; Buchalcevová, Alena (referee)
The main goal of the bachelor thesis Proposal of the introduction of open-source internet business to large companies, is to draft the implementation of open-source solution suitable for large companies. Therefore this application should beable to operate at high loads. During peak times, the application will use about 2,500 active users. In the bachelor thesis the first part is focused on introduction of nopCommerce and his competitors. This is followed by system and performance testing. Based on these tests the necessary changes to the system will be carried out. The changes are not related only to user interface, but because of the performance of the application nopCommerce the core of the application has to be rewritten. Afterwards the new changes to the application nopCommerce will be tested. This work serves not only to companies planning to open a large online shop, but also all help all these who want to open theis own shop based on open-source application.
Management of reporting in the banking sector
Hyblbauer, Jan ; Svatoš, Oleg (advisor) ; Bruckner, Tomáš (referee)
The diploma thesis focuses on a proposal for a methodological framework of reporting management in the banking sector and identifying key weaknesses of the current state. Using the proposed methodology precedes weaknesses and proves it on practical example from the real environment. The main benefit of this work is design of a methodological framework that allows the organized management and control of the reporting. It also brings identification of main weaknesses of the current reporting and last but not least universal template for the report specification. The work consists of three parts. The first, theoretical, defines area of reporting in a banking institution. It includes all the terminology, characteristics and types of reports. The second part, analytical, examines the current weaknesses of reporting within the defined area. Provides an overview of three to six major weaknesses in a particular phase of a new report development based on the scientific literature and practical experience of the author of this work in the banking environment. The third and final section contains a draft concept of reporting management in the banking sector with avoidance of the identified weaknesses from the analytical part.
