Relationship between Structure and Properties of cast Ni-alloys
Smékalová, Jana ; Hutařová, Simona (referee) ; Podrábský, Tomáš (advisor)
Nickel superalloys are developed for conditions which request the corrosion resistance, the heat-resisting and the creep-resisting material. They are used for components of air turbine motors and internal combustion turbines. The efficiency of these mechanisms is elevated with increasing combustion temperature so their development is accentuated. This thesis is concerned with a relationship between a structure and properties of nickel superalloys Inconel 713LC and Inconel 738LC in this thesis.
Structure and mechanical properties of magnesium materials prepared by SPS
Pleskalová, Kateřina ; Hutařová, Simona (referee) ; Doležal, Pavel (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the processing of the magnesium-based powder materials with the addition of zinc by the spark plasma sintering. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate influence of sintering parameters and zinc content on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the material. First part of the thesis is literary research which is divided into two main chapters. The first chapter describes magnesium-based materials and mentions their use as biomaterials. The second chapter discusses powder metallurgy, specifically magnesium powders and spark plasma sintering. In the experimental part the powders were sintered at temperatures 300 °C and 400 °C and an analysis was performed using optical microscope, scanning electron microscope, then also EDS analysis and hardness, microhardness and three-point bending tests were performed. An increase in hardness was observed with increasing zinc content and with increasing sintering temperature. The flexural strength was higher for materials sintered at a temperature of 400 ° C.
Reaction synthesis of bulk Fe-Al intermetallic materials
Dyčková, Lucie ; Hutařová, Simona (referee) ; Jan, Vít (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis deals with iron aluminides. In literature analysis are the best known and the most widely used intermetallics materials, diffusion and other possible processing technologies of intermetallic materials. In experimental part was used sprayed coating. This sprayed coating was produced by cold gas-dynamic spray. In this thesis were analysed changes in microstructure of iron aluminides depending on annealing temperature. This thesis contains photographs of microstructure and analyses from electron microscopy and measurement of microhardness.
Structure and properties of welded joints of steam turbine rotor
Machala, Jan ; Hutařová, Simona (referee) ; Juliš, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with the assessment of the structural-mechanical properties of welded joints of steam turbine rotor. Experimental weld material is low alloy steel 30CrMoNiV5-11 in the state after the artificial degradation. The theoretical part of the literary researches the issue, focusing on the weldability of different types of steel used in the energy industry, the metallurgical processes in welding and provides an overview of the most important methods of welding. Great attention is paid to the evaluation of weld quality in accordance with relevant standards and destructive and non-destructive testing of welded joints. In the experimental part of this work was carried out measurements of hardness and microhardness of the weldment by Vickers and evaluation of the microstructure by light microscopy. The obtained values and information about the properties of the material after artificial degradation were compared with previously obtained experimental results in the default state (after annealing).
Present Trends of Methods for Hardness Measurement
Brzobohatý, Tomáš ; Doležal, Pavel (referee) ; Hutařová, Simona (advisor)
Purpose of this thesis is created view of present methods of hardness measurement and to describe them in more detail. Firstly this thesis deals with representatives of standard and for many years used methods of hardness measurement and hardness evaluation which are used today, too. Secondly this thesis is focused on modern methods, and their successful working experience is question of time.
Structure and Properties of Cast Nickel-base Superalloys
Fukátková, Pavla ; Němec, Karel (referee) ; Hutařová, Simona (advisor)
This thesis is focused on changes of microstructure of nickel - base superalloys (alloy ZH6K) from the point of view of quantitative and qualitative classification. These phases especially phase ´ and the carbides significantly influence mechanical and other characteristics during the strain and temperature load action. Specimens were observed after thermal and thermal-strain exposition by light microscope and by scanning electrone microscope. There was used the image analysis for the following classification. The part of the thesis is the theoretical summary of the microstructure, chemist and the characteristic of the nickel - base superalloys.
Materials used in Aerospace Industry
Večeřa, Jiří ; Juliš, Martin (referee) ; Hutařová, Simona (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with contemporary aerospace materials. First part of this thesis is engaged in aircraft construction. There is description of the most important components of fuselage and jet engine, its function, various types and materials, which is used to its production. Other part is engaged in these materials. There are aluminum alloys, titanium base alloys, nickel and cobalt base superalloys, heat-resisting steels and composites.
Study of AlSi protective coating after degradation
Vítková, Gabriela ; Řičánková, Veronika (referee) ; Hutařová, Simona (advisor)
Materials used for high temperature applications works in a very aggressive environment (oxidation, hot corrosion, erosion, fatigue, creep). Demands on these materials are very high. Nickel-based superalloys show the certain stability in this environment. Improved resistance to oxidation and hot corrosion can be achieved by using protective layers such as diffusion barriers. This thesis is focused on changes of microstructure and properties of AlSi layer applied by „slurry“ method on nickel-based superalloy Inconel 713 LC, due to long-term thermal exposition at 800, 900 a 1000 °C.
Evaluation of Surface Layers of Ball and Sliding Bearings Components
Šafář, Martin ; Hutařová, Simona (referee) ; Doležal, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelo’s thesis solve the problems abrasion film bearing. The purpose of this thesis was used four type film, ISOFLON, Xylan 1010, DLC a PTFE + Niborit 5P.By one of tendenci is specifi coefficient friction over tribological test. On the next tendenci was size film for and after a tribological test find, elese size abrasion. Was make chemical analyse of all film.To elements interaction study light microscopy, scanning electron microscopy equipped by energy dispersive mikroanalyses.
