Coaxial probes for permittivity measurement of materials
Hub, Michal ; Urbanec, Tomáš (referee) ; Láčík, Jaroslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the measuring complex permittivity of dielectrics using a coaxial probe with an open end in the frequency range of 300 MHz to 3 GHz. It is non-invasive measurement method can be widely used during the research of dielectrics. There are describe various approaches to coaxial probe design with respect to the expected size of complex permitivity in this work. Based on the studies available materials was proposed several probes with a focus on the method of measuring the low-loss dielectrics with help reflective plate. The probes were simulated to measure the reflectance in Design CST MICROWAVE STUDIO. Thereof can calculate the value of complex permittivity. This document lists only those probes that show good results and are prerequisite for the realization of practical measurement.
The eligible expenditure investment projects financed by EU structural funds
Hub, Michal ; Dufek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Korytárová, Jana (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with grants from structural funds EU. These grants are divided by Regionální rada Jihovýchod. It is engaged mainly in an ineligible expenditure and penalties, which were granted to individual projects because of non-compliance conditions. These conditions were set at the contract signatures about getting grants.
Economic Efficiency and Finacial Feasibility of the Business Plan
Hub, Michal ; Pospíšilová,, Barbora (referee) ; Korytárová, Jana (advisor)
The thesis deals with an investment project of reconstruction and operation of bakery Anežka in Palačov. The objective of the project is to evaluate the economic efficiency of the business plan. The thesis focuses on all costs and revenues which flow from the project throughout its working life, and on cash flow in individual years. At the end of the thesis, sensitivity analysis and risk assessment have been assessed, and several variations of the course of the projects, which can occur with regard to the likelihood of risk, have been created. The effects of these risks are compared by using the index indicators of profitability and net present value in the last chapter.
Design of a photovoltaic power plant with battery storage for a family house
Hub, Michal ; Maule, Petr (referee) ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design of a photovoltaic power plant with a battery storage for a family house. In the theoretical part at first the principle of photovoltaic cells is analysed together with the various types used in this branch. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the description of photovoltaic systems and its individual parts consisting of inverters and accumulators. This thesis analyses the object for the installation of a photovoltaic power plant, including legislative and subsidy conditions. In the final part, itself system is analysed with a price proposal.
Recognition by intrinsically-disordered proteins
Hub, Michal ; Novotný, Marian (advisor) ; Del Conte, Alessio (referee)
Intrinsic disorder is one of the many traits that can affect the functionality of multiple naturally occurring proteins in biological systems. This thesis reports on the latest findings on mechanisms that intrinsically disordered proteins or intrinsically disordered regions utilize in specific recognition at the molecular level. Here, the general characteristics of intrinsically disordered proteins are summarized, along with the extent of their abundance throughout different lifeforms and the variety of their molecular recognition mechanisms depicted on specific examples. Furthermore, this thesis focuses on protein transitions between ordered and disordered states induced by interaction with its' binding partner. In the last two chapters, characteristic features of intrinsically disordered proteins are described, and attention is paid to the way these features influence cellular signaling pathways such as interactional promiscuity, the role of signaling hubs, alternative splicing, and post- translational modification.
