Böhm, Jakub ; Harčarík, Matej (referee) ; Jankových, Róbert (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with measuring touches problems in industrial metrology. Thesis describes adhesive wear and tear which is caused by measuring probes when dynamical measuring is being concluded. Measuring of damaged component made of silumin and its different changes of texture by different measuring probes are evaluated. Measuring touches are made of titanium nitride, silicon nitride, zirconium, bearing chrome steel, ruby, experimental composite material and nanocrystalline diamond.
Analysis of conformity assessment procedure of a hammer
Úlehlová, Eva ; Slažanský, Martin (referee) ; Harčarík, Matej (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the conformity assessment procedure of a hammer with its specification. The work is focused on a revolver hammer and was developed in cooperation with a company producing revolvers. In addition to describing and analyzing the hammer’s specification and conformity assessment procedure, the aim of the work was also to propose improvements. The theoretical part deals with the principles for prescribing the required product geometry on technical drawings. The output of the thesis is a proposal to improve the specification and a proposal to modify the conformity assessment procedure.
Requirements for accreditation of a testing laboratory
Kallerová, Barbora ; Jankových, Róbert (referee) ; Harčarík, Matej (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with conditions which must be fulfilled for accreditation of a testing laboratory serving for conformity assessment with geometrical product specifications. The thesis’ goals were to describe the current state of the laboratory, to analyse conditions of accreditation of laboratory and to give practical recommendations. Documentation requirements expressed in the ČSN EN ISO/IEC 17025: 2018 standard were compared to current state of documentation of the laboratory. Furthermore, practical recommendations aimed to improve compliance with the standard’s requirements were proposed. The resulting list of requirements can be used by testing laboratories as an aid in preparing for accreditation according to ČSN EN ISO/IEC 17025: 2018.
Calibration of Talysurf CCI coherence scanning interferometer
Varava, Anastasia ; Jankových, Róbert (referee) ; Harčarík, Matej (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with calibration of a coherence scanning interferometer Talysurf CCI Lite. Basic terms related to surface texture evaluation were described along with selected profile and areal surface texture parameters. The working principle and design of the calibrated instrument were explained. Manufacturer’s calibration procedure was analyzed in relation to the definition of calibration in the International vocabulary of metrology. Further calibration steps leading to calculation of measurement uncertainty were presented. Last but not least, measurement uncertainties of areal surface texture parameters Sq and Sz were evaluated. The procedures and results described in this thesis may contribute to wider use of non-contact surface texture measuring instruments.
Contact and non-contact method of surface texture evaluation
Harčarík, Matej ; Hammer, Miloš (referee) ; Jankových, Róbert (advisor)
The goal of this thesis was to create an overview of methods of surface texture evaluation, to analyse measurements of roughness profile parameters made with contact instruments and non-contact instrument Talysurf CCI Lite and to deduce practical recommendations from them. Based on measurements made, analyses of influence of cut-off settings on roughness measurement and of measurement variability were performed. Steps of the measurement process requiring special attention were identified. The output of this thesis is a proposal of measurement procedure for Talysurf CCI Lite.
Analysis of possibilities of inspection of an injection molding machine cyllinder surface using contact and non-contact methods
Bowyer, Matouš ; Jankových, Róbert (referee) ; Harčarík, Matej (advisor)
The Bachelor’s thesis contains an overview of measurement methods and notation of the surface texture. It compares the areal and profile methods and their advantages in actual practice. A recommended prescription of roughness of injection press chambers was created using data from the contact profiler and the coherence scanning interferometer. Results from the thesis can help to define the demands of the given piece more precisely.
Technical requirements for an industrial testing laboratory room
Prchalová, Michaela ; Jankových, Róbert (referee) ; Harčarík, Matej (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on the planning and design of an industrial metrology laboratory. The main goal of the work was a system analysis of the requirements for the testing laboratory. Another goal was to describe and evaluate the current state of the existing laboratory in connection with the search for general requirements, and to compile recommendations for practice. Based on the search and comparison with the current state of the laboratory, a checklist of requirements, which should be taken into account when planning such a laboratory, was created.
Measurement of Surface Texture Parameters of Products Using Contact and Non-contact Methods
Harčarík, Matej ; Hammer, Miloš (referee) ; Jankových, Róbert (advisor)
This master’s thesis includes an overview of profile method of surface texture evaluation according to ISO standards and VDA automotive standards, as well as an overview of areal method according to ISO 25178 standard series, which includes a proposal for improvement of czech terminology. Suitability of application of selected measurement methods for measurement of a portfolio of automotive parts was evaluated based on measurements carried out using a contact profiler, a coherence scanning interferometer and a confocal microscope. Further recommendations for practice in surface texture metrology were also formulated. A regression analysis of the relationship between values of selected profile surface texture parameters and their areal equivalents was also performed. Its results may aid the spread of areal surface texture evaluation in the industry.
Proposal of conformity assessment and inspection procedure of a cyllinder flange
Ondruška, Jan ; Jankových, Róbert (referee) ; Harčarík, Matej (advisor)
This bachelor thesis contains the control plan creation procedure for conformity assessment of a cylinder flange. The thesis includes a selection from standards related to the above-mentioned problems and the drawing documentation of the part. The cylinder flange is analysed in terms of function and unambiguous specification of geometry on the drawing of the part with regard to further part inspection. Any deficiencies in clarity are dealt with in more detail and solutions to these problems are proposed. Control plans for inspection of the part directly in the manufacturing process and for inspection of the part during sampling were created using CAQ software and are attached to the work. The results of the work have been used to improve the process of manufacturing of the part.
Use of Surface Texture Parameters for Conformity Assessment and Process Control
Špačková, Magda ; Jankových, Róbert (referee) ; Harčarík, Matej (advisor)
This master‘s thesis deals with using surface texture parameters for conformity assessment and process control. The aim of the thesis was to create an overview of surface texture parameters, an overview of procedures for conformity assessment and process control using surface texture parameters, practical application on an industrial product and practical recommendations. The thesis includes an overview of profile and areal surface texture parameters, including an original translation of terms of the areal method. Methods of conformity assessment and process control in connection with the surface texture parameters are also described. Statistical analysis was performed based on 7200 values of surface parameters and 1843200 values of profile parameters which were measured on parts from serial production. The last chapter includes practical recommendations.
