Kasprzyk, Tomáš ; HALAŠ, Adam (advisor) ; MUSIL, Dušan (referee)
Master’s dissertation about Teaching of mime in Slovakia is logical sequel to my bachelor’s studies dissertation about Festival PAN. The dissertation begins with a brief summary of some major slovak mimes and a new generation growing up at Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. After pointing out the diversity and vitality of slovak mime scene dissertation passes to the standing of mime art in slovak school system, compares it with czech school system and ends with chapter about the Association of professional mimes of Slovakia. My sources were mainly interviews with slovak mimes and pedagogues of basic art schools, conservatories and Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava and the official documents of Slovak and Czech Republic concerning art education. My inspiration was the founding of AMIS association and festival PAN Art, both of which shift the perception of mime closer to mime of today. With my education, which I acquired on Academy in Prague and my experience in art and pedagogy I am an active member of the association and I act as judge at the PAN Art festival and my goal as well as goal of this dissertation is to provide a new perspective in the view of slovak mime and it’s teaching methods.

Vláčilová, Michaela ; PETIŠKOVÁ, Ladislava (advisor) ; HALAŠ, Adam (referee)
Brief characteristic: The aim of the present thesis is to describe the Zdravotni klaun civic association, namely the work of the clowns themselves - zdravotni klaun, or "health clowns", i.e. artists visiting children and adult hospital patients. It amounts to a new creative discipline practiced by young artists, who, in their clown hospital visits, employ selected artistic approaches to benefit the health condition of the patients or people suffering from various ailments. This humane institution using artistic methods is already considered a part of the healing process in the hospitals, most notably where serious diseases are concerned. The artists use their original approach to heighten the patients' spirits and, primarily, to elicit laughter, which sets off supportive bodily functions augmenting the effects of treatment. This thesis offers an essential research into this new and developing discipline, drawing on direct experiences of the artists involved in the field in an effort to abstract summarising conclusions and to use their experience to shed more light on the character of this new discipline.

In my thesis I would like to sum up my experience as well as the experience of other experimentators from the past and present in the field of sound creativity connected with performing visual arts like dance, drama, film. I mostly deal with the proper selection and processing of a sound component in nonverbal theatre including methods used in the history of theatre and mime.
