Demographic passport of a small area a study on population development of the municipal district Praha 22

Diploma thesis focuses on demographic behaviour of a small population in Prague outskirts area. It studies development of its population size, age structure and other demographic characteristics in the past, their current state, and, as an integral part of this demographic pasport, a population forecast for following 20 years is presented. Besides empirical data and their analysis the papers consists of methodological notes and sketches of demographic analysis related problems solution regarding small area (less numerous) populations. It is mainly a search for suitable reference area unit, which will be representative for studied small population. Taking into account the role of migration in demographic development of typical small areas, the thesis is devoted to a search for relation between housing construction and migration balance. A part of this diploma project was also a quantitative research accomplished on population of municipal district Praha 22. A goal was to find out level of satisfaction with living in studied area, to make present demographic situation better understandable. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
