Comparative analysis of the attitudes of selected European parties on the topic of sexual minorities

This bachelor thesis focuses on the study of the approach of political parties in selected countries to the topics of sexual minorities. The work deals with the analysis of election programs, in which the researcher focused on points affecting sexual minorities. The thesis uses three theories of the theoretical framework within the theoretical concepts, which are the division of the political spectrum on the left and right by Norbert Bobbio, as well as the Theory of Cultural Revenge and the Theory of Postmaterialism. The following methodological chapter introduces the methods of data acquisition and the method of working with them. Furthermore, a comparative analysis is presented. The empirical part includes a brief description of the history of the development of conditions, rights and opportunities for sexual minorities in four selected countries. In the fourth, research chapter, there is a comparative analysis, comparing the approaches in the states and on the basis of their ideological boundaries, as well as the development of their approaches over time. To obtain data for comparison, data reduction was used in the content analysis of the parties' programs.
