Plant oils for industry
Beran, Vojtěch ; Ficza, Ildikó (referee) ; Frýza, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes usability of plant oils as liquid greases. The beginning of thesis follow up tribology problems and process of lubrication. The main section describes plant oils from perspective of their chemical composition and its closely related properties. In this thesis, plant oils are compared with another common liquid oils together with the comparison of its properties on specific application. In the conclusion, the thesis deals with summary of plant oils issues and with prospects for the future.
Simulation of the energy recovery circuit function
Kubíček, Ondřej ; Ficza, Ildikó (referee) ; Nevrlý, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes the design and optimization of a mathematical model for simulating the hydrostatic energy recovery systems. The mathematical model together with the experimental stand should be used to simulate the operating conditions of vehicles using the hydrostatic energy transmission. These include vehicles for collection of municipal waste, public transport vehicles, or for heavy construction machinery. The paper summarizes the current efforts in the design of analytical models, describes the program developed in MATLAB, and is devoted to analyzing the influence of individual input parameters on the output calculation.
User interface design of software application for simulation of EHD problems
Sýkora, Ota ; Poliščuk, Radek (referee) ; Ficza, Ildikó (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design and implementation of user interface of software application for simulation of elastohydrodynamic lubrication (EHL) problems. The first part of the thesis briefly reviews EHL simulations and describes the numerical method used for the application. The second part of the thesis provides an introduction into graphical user interfaces and describes the design and implemenation of the actual application in Qt Creator.
Review of the options and methods of manufacture polyethylene acetabular cups artificial hip joint
Klus, Patrik ; Ficza, Ildikó (referee) ; Ranuša, Matúš (advisor)
The bachelor‘s thesis gives a complex review of options and methods for manufacturing polyethylene acetabular liners in artificial joint hips. It describes the development process of polyethylene from the early 70s to nowadays. Several manufacturing techniques of polyethylene liners and their effect on the wear resistance are also listed. The final part of the thesis focuses on older and modern evaluation methods of linear or volumetric wear rate of polyethylene liners.
Modification of Targeting Camera for a Remote Laser Spectroscopy
Klempa, Tomáš ; Ficza, Ildikó (referee) ; Brada, Michal (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the modification of targeting camera for remote laser spectroscopy. Targeting camera will be used on remote laser spectroscopy unit to study its features in laboratory of Institute of Physical Engineering on University of Mechanical Engineering Brno and to study the affect of external environment to analytic ability. The thesis contains a brief overview of the current stage of knowledge, designs of stroctural variations and the description of parts of designed device.
The continuous and discrete logistic equation
Ficza, Ildikó ; Opluštil, Zdeněk (referee) ; Čermák, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the continuous and discrete logistic equation. The objective of this thesis is to analyze these equations and compare both cases.
Experimental Study of the Efect of Lubricants on Rolling Contact Life
Šembera, Václav ; Ficza, Ildikó (referee) ; Nohál, Libor (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to summarize the art of state in the area of the contact fatigue, lubricants and detection of the rolling contact fatigue exploiting the acoustic emission method. In the experimental part of this bachelor’s thesis are performed the rolling contact testing for the standard grease and the lubricant with EP additives by marginal exploiting the acoustic emission method. The effect of the lubricants on the rolling contact life is evaluated by basic rating life L10 stated by using Weibull distribution.
Review of grease types
Mauer, Jindřich ; Ficza, Ildikó (referee) ; Košťál, David (advisor)
This bachelor thesis provides a basic distribution of greases according various aspects, which are used for lubrication the various components. The first part of bachelor thesis deals with the composition of greases. The following section describes the manufacture of greases. Another section includes the distribution of greases in terms of their composition. The following section is about distribution of greases in terms of practical use. The last part of the bachelor thesis deals with transmission electron microscopy, by this method is possible to examine the structure of greases.
Effects of Non-Newtonian Lubricants on Surface Roughness in Point Contacts
Ficza, Ildikó ; Kaneta, Motohiro (referee) ; Poll, Gerhard (referee) ; Hartl, Martin (advisor)
Práce obsahuje popis matematického modelu EHD kontaktu a aplikované numeriké metody. Výsledky simulací jsou porovnány s experimentálně stanovenýma hodnotama tloušťky mazacího filmu. Deformace nerovnosti uvnitř kontaktní oblasti je studována pro různé provozní podmínky (střední rychlost, poměr proklzu) a různá vlastnosti maziva.
Determination of measurement deviations of 3D optical scanner
Dokoupil, Filip ; Ficza, Ildikó (referee) ; Paloušek, David (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor thesis is to determine measurement deviations of the optical system ATOS Triple Scan, when the chalk and titanium coating is applied, by statistical data analysis. In the theoretical part, a short introduction to 3D reconstruction of real objects, distribution of structured light systems according to the pattern structure and existing knowledge about the scanning system accuracy is given. The practical part is based on the experimental measurement the calibration elements with specific chalk and titanium coating. As the result, the measurement uncertainty and the coating thickness is determined.
