METHODS FOR MEASUREMENT OF ULTRA-SHORT SINGLE-SHOT ELECTROMAGNETIC PULSES
Drexler, Petr ; Fiala, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with the aspects of methods for pulsed high-level EM quantities measurement. Methods for current and voltage measurement in pulsed power generator and power measurement in pulse microwave generator are discussed. New approaches to single-shot measurement methods application are proposed. The theoretical analysis of suitable sensor designs is performed. The magneto-optic measurement method has been experimentally realized. On the basis of experimental results a fiber-optic current sensor has been designed and theoretically analyzed. For identification and measurement of the free-space electromagnetic pulse a combined calorimetric sensor has been designed and built.
Measuring and Evaluating the Effects of Low-Level Magnetic Fields on Human Behavior and Decision-Making
Hanzelka, Michael ; Sláma,, Jozef (referee) ; Bartušek, Karel (referee) ; Fiala, Pavel (advisor)
Presents results of research in the field of low-level electromagnetic fields interacting with the higher organisms, in the frequency band from 0,01 to 30 Hz effect on the individual or social group. Provides a description of the methodology of measuring and evaluating the impact of workplace assembled measuring low-level electromagnetic fields, extremely low frequency (ELF) on a sample of respondents. It was proposed measuring device for monitoring and evaluating how respondents' reactions to changes in the geomagnetic or external - external magnetic / electromagnetic field and to work for the measurement and evaluation of changes in external magnetic fields very low levels (ELF). This work is designed to process and evaluate implemented within experimental research into the influence of low-level magnetic fields in the Earth's resonator psychophysiological parameters of human organism and its behavior and decision-making. The work confirmed the influence of low-level magnetic fields on the psychophysiological parameters of the organism to be simultaneously confirmed the hypothesis established in accordance with the objectives of work.
Converters controling
Nevoral, Jiří ; Steinbauer, Miloslav (referee) ; Fiala, Pavel (advisor)
Bachelor´s project is study of DSP microprocessor problems to converters controlling with asynchronous motors and execution of a project. Study includes information on quality single type processor, benefits and disadvantage whole solving. Of purpose is DSP converters control with DMC1500.
Spectral impuls signal analyzis
Měcháček, Radek ; Kubásek, Radek (referee) ; Fiala, Pavel (advisor)
Analysis signals, especially then pulsed signals and their next processing, today alreadyquaere to many different technological line. From communication engineering over telecommunication and acoustics, after as much as field - club application or multimedia. This work is introduction to the problems methods processing pulsed signals. Is distributive how from the standpoint of theory, so from look future application usage, by the help of programmatic analyses basic signals. Work bears basic description, notions, routes and method for work and analysis with widthspectral and ultraswidthspectral signals. Further be created tool for generation, filtration and near processing of several basic pseudo - random signals.
Noise generator
Pospíšil, Miroslav ; Kubásek, Radek (referee) ; Fiala, Pavel (advisor)
The goal of bachelor’s thesis „Noise generator“ is circuit design and construction of noise generator. The first part is concentrated on description of random signals. There are circuits of noise generators in the second part. In the third part is example of utilization noise generator in microwave sensors. And in fourth part are designed circuit and made measurements.
Basic methods of reflectometry
Kovář, Ondřej ; Hadinec, Michal (referee) ; Fiala, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on physical method called reflectometry and it deals with problem of detection faults in cables and its formatting. This thesis describe the posibility of aplication of this method to a coaxial or an optical cable. Theoretical part of this project is devided in two parts. First part is about a coaxial reflektometry and second part is about an optical reflectometry. Both methods are desribed by block diagrams and even by analysis of real machines. Due to modern devices, we are able to find out in very short time the cable lenght or if the cable is damaged. Because of this ability the reflectometer is very valuable and powerful tool and the research in this technical sector is intesive. Final part of this bachelor thesis inscribe the proposal of laboratorial work, which should introduce the reflectometry to other students.
Antenna design for ULF- Low-level magnetic measurements
Škoda, Martin ; Kříž, Tomáš (referee) ; Fiala, Pavel (advisor)
The present work deals with the design and study of the sensing element (antenna) for ultra low level measurements of low frequency magnetic fields. At the first, it considers the propagation of electromagnetic fields and form of propagation of electromagnetic waves. Then, using Ansys Maxwell are simulated by three models sensing elements. At the end of thesis, two antennas are implemented and conducted laboratory measurements with them.
Power impulse current sources
Nejedlý, Miroslav ; Fiala, Pavel (referee) ; Drexler, Petr (advisor)
This project deals with the probleme of the power pulsed current source. In this work, there is a study of some generators of pulsed current and than there has been made a design of power pulsed current generator. For the switching purposes the power switch based on the thyristor module has been designet. The advantages and disadvantages are discussen. The designed current source has been experimentally realized. The measurement of its parameters was performed.
Numerical modeling of special LED ligth source
Nepor, František ; Fiala, Pavel (referee) ; Steinbauer, Miloslav (advisor)
This work presents information about numeric simulation of special light sources based on LED. In first, theoretical problems of light simulation are analyzed, next the LED source is designed and finally experimental measurement is done to confirm the results. The target is to aim maximal homogeneity due appropriate layout of LEDs. Content of this work is divided into several parts. In first part the measurement units used in light sources description are explained to understand next parts of the document. Second part describes some of the methods used for simulation of the light sources. Next chapter explains procedure for selection of the method and deals with simulation of light source design in MATLAB. Last part of this work is focused on experimental verification of designed light source, when measured data are compared with the simulated results.
Change of magnetic susceptibility during the germination of plants
Sedlář, Petr ; Fiala, Pavel (referee) ; Vlachová Hutová, Eliška (advisor)
The work examines the changes in the magnetic susceptibility during the early germination of the somatic embryo (RSE) of the Norway spruce. Susceptibility is in the physically view the property, which can be used to determine a variety of parameters and properties of the measured objects. The aim of this work was to create a automatic to evaluate the susceptibility of the tissue RSE and take measurements to prove or disprove the contrary of the accuracy of this assessment. This work contains the results obtained by modeling a script in Matlab, in which can be shown the correctness of the theoretical concepts.
