Flat tax and its impact on redistribution of income in Czech republic

This thesis discuss the phenomenon in income taxes during last decade - the flat tax. The paper analyzes historical development of income taxes and ideas of flat tax, how it worked in history and how economists elaborated different proposals of flat tax in 20th century. The main accent has concept of american economists Robert Hall and Alvin Rabushka, which is well-developed and which was the lodestar of czech tax reform in 2008. Thesis consists of analysis of their theoretical model, its effects and consequences. The comparison of czech implementation with original concept follows on some model examples of czech taxpayers. That illustrates how the implementation worked out.

Analysis of rules of marking mineral oils applied in the Czech Republic and selected member countries of the European Union

The presented bachelor paper summarizes the findings on the rules of marking mineral oils applied in the Czech Republic and selected member countries of the European Union. The question "How has the marking developed in the Czech Republic and why it is important to mark mineral oils?" is answered in the chapter entitled "Rules of marking mineral oils in the legislation of the Czech Republic." Position of the European Union to the marking of mineral oils is formulated in the Directive, which is also interpreted in the text. The next part of the work explains rules on labeling in the 18 EU Member States. Comparison of these rules and then finding the same elements and differences in markings in individual countries is described in the last chapter.

Football Clubs Revenues Taxation in the Czech Republic

Every football club in the Czech Republic is a legal entitity and its revenues are subject to the corporate tax. The Corporate Tax Act treats the taxation of revenues of various taxpayers differently based on the fact if the taxpayer is estabilished for the profit achivement or not. Because football clubs can be both commercial and non-commercial entities, the aim of this thesis is to identify the differences in taxation of their revenues. The work is divided into three parts characterising the organisation of football in the CR, the most frequent earnings of football clubs, and consequently the differences in technique of the way the football clubs determine their tax duty.

Tax stamping of spirits in the member states of the European Union

This bachelor's thesis deals with the comparison of the tax stamping systems in the EU member states. The aim is to identify the particular systems of tax stamping of spirits and to analyse common and differential characters on the basis of this information. The acquis communautaire is not uniform in this issue, it is necessary to arise from the tax laws in these states. Generally, it is valid that a system of tax stamping of spirits is an efficient precaution against the spirit fraud and it protects the spirit market from the entry of counterfeited goods.

Vliv volebního cyklu a vládního uskupení na daně z příjmů

Práce se snaží nalézt souvislosti mezi politickým děním a příjmovými daněmi. Je založena na sledování dynamiky vývoje zvolených proměnných v politickém kontextu. Do zkoumání jsou zahrnuty podíly osobní důchodové daně , korporátní důchodové daně a sociálního pojištění na celkovém daňovém výběru. V práci jsou provedeny výpočty globální progresivity osobní důchové daně a rovněž je zkoumán vývoj daňové kvóty. Sledovaným obdobím jsou roky 1993 až 2005.

Individual Income Tax reforms in EU

The study is concerned with reforms of tax systems in the european countries and possibilities of tax system optimalization. The research by the help of comparing analysis is applied to selected EU countries where in tax systems has been obtained integration and convergency trend in last decades. This has been one of the reasons for choosing this region. The selected countries have been chosen because they represent the greatest european countries and the most remarkable economics and/or experienced more significant tax reform. The object of study is to classify the reforms in individual countries according to the diversity of historical, economical and institutional progress and enquire their course and influence on the tax system structure. The analysis affords comparative and economically oriented view of tax systems in selected european countries and on the basis of specific criteria leads into the similar and dissimilar tax reform trends formulation .
