Optimization of Contrast in MRI of Labeled Thrombi
Dohnalová, Petra ; Mézl, Martin (referee) ; Jiřík, Radovan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the general principle of molecular MRI, the formation, composition of trombi and their impact on the human body. It also deals with the contrast agents, to which molecules are they targeted and why, as well as the principle of interactions with these target molecules. The following are found values of native relaxation times for thrombi, blood, gray and white matter and relaxivities of contrast agents at different values of B0 magnetic field. The next part is dedicated to the program for simulations of T1- and T2- weighted MRI and searching for the optimal setting of acquisition parametersbased on the achieved contrast. Finally, the possibility of combining T1- and T2- weighted images to increase contrast is explored.
Segmentation of Cardiac MR Images
Dohnalová, Petra ; Mézl, Martin (referee) ; Jiřík, Radovan (advisor)
This diploma thesis focuses on the influence of myocardial fibrosis on cardiac activity, changes in end-diastolic and end-systolic volume, as well as changes in ejection fraction. The theoretical part is focused on studying the methods used in left ventricular segmentation. The goal is then to implement an algorithm suitable for left ventricular segmentation on the supplied dataset. Based on segmentation, the effect of myocardial fibrosis on the group of rats with induced fibrosis is monitored, at the same time the data are compared with the control group of healthy rats.
Christian Holidays and their meaning in education
DOHNALOVÁ, Petra
The bachelor's thesis "Perception of the meaning of Christian holidays and traditions through the eyes of elementary school students" deals with the topic of celebrating Christian holidays and traditions. The work deals with the significance of holidays as such for culture and society. Thesis mainly focused on the Christmas holidays, which were the subject of my research. I set out two research questions for my bachelor's thesis. Are customs and traditions maintained in families these days? Does the perception of traditions and customs change with the age of the child? The research problem was solved with primary school students in Záhoří. The research was conducted on the basis of anonymous questionnaires. From the analysis of the questionnaires, children's awareness of traditions related to the Christmas holidays and observance of rituals and customs in families was mapped.

Utilization of Six Sigma and Lean approaches within the project management of SAP
Dohnalová, Petra ; Hykš, Ondřej (advisor) ; Čermáková, Kateřina (referee)
This thesis deals with the Six Sigma and LEAN project management methodology and its mutual linkage to Lean Six Sigma. In the first part it describes its basic theoretical principles explaining the background and the roots of both approaches. Furthermore, the adaptation to SAP Sigma is brought to light. In the practical part a case study of the application of Six Sigma on a project called FastClose is introduced and investigated. In addition, Lean Six Sigma methods are applied as well in order to explore further improvement potential within the project.
Six Sigma Project Management and its application within SAP
Dohnalová, Petra ; Kačín, Radovan (advisor) ; Hykš, Ondřej (referee)
This thesis deals with the Six Sigma project management methodology. In the first part it describes its basic theoretical principles explaining the background and the roots of this approach as well. In the practical part the adaptation to SAP Sigma is described and discussed. Also a case study of the application of SAP Sigma on a particular project -- the FastClose project is introduced and further investigated.
