Barrier-free town - square in Podebrady
Kronowetterová, Marie ; Dobiášová, Lucie (referee) ; Okřinová, Petra (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the barrier-free use of public spaces in the city, specifically Jiřího Square in Poděbrady. From a global perspective, it addresses the issue of people with limited mobility and orientation and their specific needs for the most appropriate design solution. The work focuses on mapping and analysis of accessibility in the mentioned square according to Decree No. 398/2009, on general technical requirements ensuring barrier-free use of buildings. The next part deals with the verification and assessment of the new design of the square according to the public architectural competition. The design and the current state of the space are evaluated using a numerical model of pedestrians and according to the obtained results, changes are proposed for an optimized version of the design.
Soft targets and crowded places protection using evacuation modeling
Dobiášová, Lucie ; Apeltauer, Tomáš (referee) ; Okřinová, Petra (advisor)
The thesis deals with the issue of protection of Prague's main train station as a soft target and it's regular operation, mainly by using evacuation model with emphasis on barrier-free issues. Mapping of the building was conducted by using Decree No. 398/2009 Coll. general technical requirements ensuring the barrier-free usage of buildings and their parts. Adapting the environment to people with reduced mobility is not always axiomatic, especially in terms of evacuation. For the movement of these persons it is necessary to take into account their needs and possibilities in normal traffic and during evacuation. The sociological and psychological aspects of crowd and individuals have also significant impact on evacuation. For identifying critical points of the main train station, it has been used knowledge of local research, knowledge of barrier-free buildings, sociology and psychology, and special simulation tools for modeling the movement of people. It has been found that space can be optimized by detailed analysis of simulation outputs to meet all expected requirements without negative impact on barrier-free domain. Thanks to this, it was possible to achieve a new design, which accomplishes higher safety of people with movement and orientation disabilities, especially during emergency situations in building of main train station Prague.
Modeling the movement of people in the barrier-free city
Dobiášová, Lucie ; Poláčková,, Kateřina (referee) ; Okřinová, Petra (advisor)
The thesis deals with the issue of a barrier-free environment in the city of Brno, namely the area in front of the main train station on Nádražní Street. It assesses the current state according to Decree No. 398/2009 Coll. general technical requirements ensuring the barrier-free usage of buildings and their parts, with an emphasis on the comfort and mobility of people with movement restrictions. The current arrangement does not meet either structural, aesthetic, sociological, safety or traffic requirements. Knowledge of the area of barrier-free construction and special simulation tools for modeling people's movement have been used to design optimal solution. It has been found that space can be optimized by detailed analysis of simulation outputs to meet all expected requirements without negative impact on any of the areas mentioned above. Thanks to this, it was possible to achieve a new design, which made the area a full-fledged and representative part of the city center of Brno.
Legal regulation of whistleblowing in Czech Republic
Dobiášová, Lucie ; Morávek, Jakub (advisor) ; Matějka Řehořová, Lucie (referee)
Legal regulation of whistleblowing in Czech Republic Abstract This rigorous thesis addresses the current topic of legal regulation of whistleblowing in the Czech Republic. The aim of this rigorous thesis is to provide a general insight into the issue of whistleblowing. The thesis is divided into five parts, which successively analyse the current state of legal regulation, the history of whistleblowing in the Czech Republic, and its development in an international context, the fundamental problems and challenges associated with the protection of whistleblowers, and finally, a detailed examination of the proposed new law on the protection of whistleblowers in the context of the Directive (EU) 2019/1937 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 October 2019 on the protection of persons reporting breaches of Union law. In the introduction, this thesis focuses on the definition of whistleblowing, examines the history of whistleblowing in the Czech Republic and abroad, and discusses the concept of whistleblowing in the legal system. The work also presents the main problems and challenges associated with the protection of whistleblowers in the Czech Republic, such as the consequences of the futile expiration of the transposition period and the resulting consequences. In the central part of the work, the...
Stabilization of rural primary schools with small
DOBIÁŠOVÁ, Lucie
This bachelor thesis deals with the stabilization of rural primary schools with a small number of pupils in the Benešov district. Based on interviews with primary school principals and mayors of municipalities with such schools, problems associated with the functioning of small and complete rural primary schools with a small number of pupils were identified. The interviews were structured guided interviews, which were used to analyse the relationships between the primary school and the village management, between the primary school and the community of the village residents, and to examine the characteristics of the pupils and teachers of the primary school. The primary schools under study (9 schools in total) were grouped into several types according to completeness and number of pupils. The rural primary schools surveyed in the Benešov region tend to have a small proportion of pupils from socially disadvantaged backgrounds and with educational difficulties. Funding for the operation of rural primary schools by the municipalities concerned varies widely. Some municipalities save on their primary school, others support it financially beyond the normal level. Most primary schools and the management of the municipalities concerned cooperate in organising events for children and other inhabitants of the municipality. Both institutions help each other. Primary schools in rural villages are very important in terms of cultural events in the villages. Both pupils and teachers of the primary school are involved in these events. The qualification of teachers in rural primary schools is slightly lower than in urban primary schools. The answers of mayors were mostly in line with those of principals. The thesis also includes an analysis of relevant Czech and foreign literature, including qualification papers, and some proposed tools and measures to save and stabilize rural primary schools with a small number of pupils.
Approximation of Evacuation Curve by the Polynomic Regression Method
Uhlík, Ondřej ; Dobiášová, Lucie ; Kratochvílová, Martina
Prediction of the evacuation process at the time of the emergency is crucial for the subsequent effective coordination of the evacuation and the intervention of the rescue units. Microscopic simulation tools are currently the most advanced method of evacuation modelling, however, their use in the operational phase of construction is inefficient due to the computational time of the simulations and dynamic input data. One of the outputs of the simulations is the evacuation curve. The paper proposes a simplification of the curve by the approximation method of polynomial regression, which demonstrates on basic evacuation scenario. The polynomial coefficients can be used to compile a training set of a machine learning model to predict real-time evacuation curves.

The issue of the use of biometric data in labour relations
Dobiášová, Lucie ; Morávek, Jakub (advisor) ; Lang, Roman (referee)
The issue of the use of biometric data in labour relations Abstract This diploma thesis deals with the current topic of the legal framework for the protection of biometric data in the context of labour relations. With the development of information technology, interest in the use of biometric data is growing. It is becoming common in the workplace that the biometric data are used, among others, for recording attendance, gaining access either to the workplace itself or to the individual work equipment. Their use is simple and convenient, as employees can use for verification their fingerprints, iris scans, etc. However, biometric data are inherently unchangeable, which is an advantage as well as the Achilles heel of their processing. Therefore, due to their nature, they fall into the category of sensitive personal data and as such enjoy enhanced protection. Development in the field of information technology suggests that biometric data are highly likely to become part of everyday life. Hence, it is more than appropriate for this development to be reflected in the legislation. The aim of this diploma thesis is to provide a general insight into the issue of using biometric data in the labour relations, where a particularly high increase in their use can be expected. The first part of this thesis acquaints the...
