Geolocation in Internet using network topologies
Dvořák, Filip ; Verner, Lukáš (referee) ; Komosný, Dan (advisor)
The thesis discusses about modern geolocation methods and it describes the basic principles of their work. The work is divided into 2 parts - the theoretical one and the practical one. The first part of the thesis is focused on the description of these methods and on the explanation of its basic concepts which are used for determining of the physical position of the station according to its IP address. The second more extensive part of the work focuses on the description of the realization of algorithm in the Octant method in the programming language of Java and its use in the experimental net of PlanetLab. One important thing is to create a set of reference points and targets, which are necessary for the testing of the whole algorithm of the Octant Method. The results of estimated accuracy of target location obtained by the Octant method and their comparison with the results obtained by active methods of CBG, SOI and with the passive method of GeoIP are listed at the end of this work.
QoS assurance in wireless networks
Dvořák, Filip ; Vychodil, Petr (referee) ; Vymazal, Michal (advisor)
The bachelor´s work deals with wireless network WiFi and describes basic standards and their supplements. This work is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The first part of the work is applied to theoretic description of the best known standards IEEE 802.11 and detailed description of standard 802.11e. The second part of the work takes an interest in proposal and influence of service Wireless Multimedia in wireless network both in real world and in simulation program Opnet Modeler. Obtained results of the measurement are described and summarized in the conclusion.

Automatic shift for digital data recorder
Šuta, Václav ; Dvořák, Filip (referee) ; Diblík, Jan (advisor)
Master theses of Automatic Shift Control of the Digital Data Recorder is primarily concerned to design and construction of equipment used for measuring the half-width of the laser beam. The introductory part is devoted to the related theoretical basics and serves for better orientation in the following chapters. The second part is devoted to construction, completion and basic setting of product.
Laser beam shaping
Hantl, Josef ; Dvořák, Filip (referee) ; Hudcová, Lucie (advisor)
Thesis describes shortly types of waves and beams. Gaussian beam properties and parameters are described in more details, Gaussian beam is the most used in atmospheric optical links. The main goal of work is studying of possibilities of laser beam shaping, mainly the beam Top hat. In this project reasons why is suitable to shape laser beam for optical communications and the most used methods for shaping of laser beam are described. The suggested processes of beams shaping are experimentally verified and properties of beams shaped of single methods are compared with each other.
Management of the Construction Project from Contractor's Point of View
Dvořák, Filip ; Poul, Kamil (referee) ; Nováková, Jana (advisor)
The thesis is dedicated to and at the same time explains the basic concepts concerning the management of the construction project from contractor's point of view. The aim of this work is guided by the principles, methods and procedures of the management during the construction project and their application to practical project of construction ,,Sportovní hala“ in Nové Veselí.
Piece of heaven
Schulz, Jan ; Dvořák, Filip (referee) ; Chamonikolasová, Kaliopi (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis A Piece of Heaven deals with the theme of the effort exerted in order to achieve an illusory goal. I depict the space of primary desire in the work through ultramarine landscapes with hills. The only thing that man has in this landscape is curiosity, which constantly pushes him to move forward and try to acquire new experiences that are extremely precious for our lives.
Travel behaviour of Czech football clubs' fans
Dvořák, Filip ; Marada, Miroslav (advisor) ; Burda, Tomáš (referee)
In this paper we describe the travel behaviour of football fans based on a literature search and a questionnaire survey. The aim of this thesis is to describe what drives fans to visit football stadiums. We know that there are many fans of football clubs in the Czech Republic, but also that their behaviour is often very heterogeneous. Starting, for example, with the frequency of visits supporting their favourite club during home and away matches. We expect the support at the home stadium to be much higher. But more interesting for us will be mainly the outings of football fans. Whether to support their favourite team at away games in the Czech Republic or on long cross-border trips. It is not uncommon for an individual to support their club that is located a long distance from their home. We expect that large Prague clubs will have a fan base spread more widely across the country, while provincial clubs such as Viktoria Plzeň or Sigma Olomouc will have fans more concentrated in their region. Therefore, we want to find out the frequency of trips, what means of transport they choose, who they travel with, etc. But also how much time they spend in the city and whether they visit any sights or shops together with the match. A very specific group will be the European Cup matches, which Czech clubs play...
Preparation and characterization of nanoparticles formed by polymer-surfactant complexes
Dvořák, Filip ; Štěpánek, Miroslav (advisor) ; Netopilík, Miloš (referee)
In this work, copolymers of celulose-g-polystyrene (cel-PS) and celulose-g- poly(methylmetacrylate) (cel-PMMA) were characterized using static and dynamic light scattering, transmission electron microscopy and atomic force microscopy. Preparation of nanoparticles of these hydrophobic copolymers in aqueous solution was further studied, by means of precipitation from dioxane solutions using water with added low-molar-mass surfactants sodium dodecylsulfate (SDS) and dodecyltrimethylammonium bromide (DTMAB). It was shown that the ability of the surfactants to stabilize polymer nanoparticles is driven not only by the hydrophobic effect, but it depends also on specific interactions of the polar group of the surfactant with the surface of the nanoparticles. On the basis of the finding that the efficiency of stabilization of cel-PS copolymers is much higher than in case of linear PS, it can be concluded, that the branched structure of copolymers is favorable for the formation of hydrofobically stabilised polymer-surfactant complexes.
Tool for editing PDDL projects
Chomut, Miroslav ; Plch, Tomáš (advisor) ; Dvořák, Filip (referee)
Title: Tool for editing PDDL projects Author: Miroslav Chomut Department / Institute: Department of Software and Computer Science Education Supervisor of the bachelor thesis: Mgr. Tomáš Plch Abstract: The Planning Domain Definition Language (PDDL) is one of standard languages used for defining planning domains and problems. PDDL is a syntactically complex language therefore developers often make syntax and semantic errors. Working with larger PDDL files is time consuming. Unlike imperative programming languages (e.g. C#, C++), there is no suitable widespread tool for editing PDDL. Our goal is to provide PDDL developers with tool for comfortable editing, which is known from tools for imperative programming languages (e.g. Microsoft Visual Studio). This thesis describes our project called PDDL Studio, which is capable of a) syntax highlighting, b) context sensitive code completion, c) error detection with Interactive Error Table, d) code collapsing, e) project management, f) XML export and import features, g) planner integration and h) common editor features (e.g. Bracket Matching, Line Counter). Our tool is multiplatform and it is designed to increase efficiency of PDDL developers and code readability. Keywords: Problem Domain Definition Language, Integrated Development Environment, editor, syntax checking,...
