Monitoring system for applications and system of linux servers
Janovský, Martin ; Chmelař, Milan (referee) ; Janovič, Filip (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis solve the problem sight above distant Linux's servers. She describes technology, that are used for following servers. Further is described application by herself. Main problem at distant sight is, that the oneself have to check every one server separately. This performs central server provided by web server with the support language PHP and database MySQL. Central server creates interface between user and servers. All application is built on PHP, MySQL and SOAP messages. Server, which is monitored, is equipped web server and application for automatic execute process. All application is then built on exchange SOAP messages, which contain monitoring information. These data are preserved in database and further used for various statistics and graphs. By the help of web interface on central server can be information suitable displayed. This interface makes it possible to do action above single processes. Restarted or stopping process is at distant management used frequently. Naturally is respect emphasis on safeness. Optimal place for placement these application is operator centre or administrator's computer. Demand user has then displayed all monitored servers on monitor. On nonstandard state of process user is promptly alert. This situation he can promptly solve.
Audiogam measurement with LabView
Placzek, Roman ; Chmelař, Milan (referee) ; Kolář, Radim (advisor)
The project deals with hearing disorders and examination of hearing and mainly with construct audiometer with the help of sound card and computer program LabView. Thesis describes requirements for audiometers and its realization in LabView with detailed description of all controls and blocks. Headphone for audiometer is also described here, including measurement of its characteristics and calibration. As a part of this project, the manual for calibration and manual for examination of hearing in the program Audiometr is included.
ECG generator for equipment testing
Čech, Petr ; Rampl, Ivan (referee) ; Chmelař, Milan (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on testing ECG monitors and ECG instruments. There are discussed origin and charakteristics of ECG signal. The ECG signal is presented by standard leads. This is the reason, why the way of making leads is mentioned. One chapter is aimed at generating ECG signal. There are set requierements for the ECG generator. These requierements results from ECG instrument possibilities and from ECG signal character. Next part of this diploma thesis includes hardware design of each part of the system. The system was designed with respect to mobility and 12-leads systems compatibility. Finaly the thesis includes design of the controll software.
Control and signalling unit for sport match
Bohutínský, Jaroslav ; Chmelař, Milan (referee) ; Kolouch, Jaromír (advisor)
The aim of this study is a design of a control and signalling unit for sport meetings controlled by a microcontroller. The unit should display the time, the state of the match, eventually another data important for a course of the match. It should be fitted by an audible alarm of the end of the match. A touch control panel with a liquid crystal display serves as input of control data. The unit operates in a countdown mode, it is possible anytime to start or to stop the time by pressing the button. The equipment is mains-operated and backed up by an external battery. In the case of a power failure, it is switched over to the battery. A representation of the time, the state of the match and other data is done by LED displays. The unit allows a connection to PC.
Photoplethysmographic method of the arterial compliance measurement
Nejedlý, Petr ; Chmelař, Milan (referee) ; Svačinová,, Jana (advisor)
The purpose of this study is a description of dynamic photoplethysmography as a method for assessment of viscoelastic properties of small diameter arteries. The first part of this work defines a mathematical model for the description of the arterial wall features and parasitic effects, that might occur during measurement. Furthermore, the experimental part of the work deals with the measurement of arterial wall compliance on healthy volunteers during physiological and induced ischemia conditions. Moreover, the mathematical model and statistical methods are applied for interpretation of experimental data.
Measurement of blood oxygen saturation
Schořová, Martina ; Janoušek, Oto (referee) ; Chmelař, Milan (advisor)
In the first part, this bachelor thesis deal about problems, which are connected together with measurement of blood saturation by oxigen. In this thesis is introduced description of various methods, but as the main problem is a pulse oximetry. In the second part is examination of different conditions which can create error in oxigen blood saturation measurement. These conditions has been tested to volunteers.
Skin resist and psycho-galvanic reflex
Trávníčková, Hana ; Bubník, Karel (referee) ; Chmelař, Milan (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor’s thesis was to clarify the phenomenon called psychogalvanic reflex, describe mechanism of its origin, its affects and use in practice. It analyzes the structure of the skin and its properties in terms of conducting electrical current, describes the phenomenon itself and discusses the conditions for its measurement. The practical part is devoted to the concept and realization of a simple psychogalvanometer. This device is connected with PC and acquired signal is processed by LabView.
Uninterruptible Power Supply
Mrázek, Petr ; Harabiš, Vratislav (referee) ; Chmelař, Milan (advisor)
The thesis deals with Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and associated problems of backup power in case of unexpected outages of electricity. Start of work is dedicated to limitation of the electricity supplies, as well as their causes and consequences. Furthermore, brief history of UPS and subsequently distinguish between UPS’s architectures. There is also a description of the energy sources such as batteries, flywheels or fuel cells. Part of thesis describes security of electricity supply in health care facilities, including requirements for emergency power. The own design of UPS is described in the end.
Measurement of Isolated Cardiac Muscle Cell Lenght in real time
Klabal, Petr ; Sekora, Jiří (referee) ; Chmelař, Milan (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with the basic description of cardiac muscle cells, the mechanism of its contraction and events associated with contractions. There are different types of methods which can be used for measuring of contractions and for evaluation of cell length. This work describe these methods and evaluate their pros and cons. Based on available information and technical possibilities is one of the methods chosen and used for the design of block diagram system for measuring of contraction of isolated heart cells in real time. The practical part of this diploma thesis deals with the designing of a system which allows processing the image of isolated cardiac muscle cells that facilitate the detection of the cells edge. For this purpose it was created a device that allows the user to select a single row from television signal containing the image information from a location where is the currently selected row. Thus obtained image information can be used for cells edge detection and measuring of its length and contractions.
Response of biological signals during acoustic and optical stimulation
Strakoš, Libor ; Chmelař, Milan (referee) ; Bubník, Karel (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is recording and evaluating of biological signals connected with autonomic nervous system. Changes in signals are caused by optical and acoustical stimuli. These stimuli are pictures of different meaning. Colors, basic symbols and neutral pictures with variance in colorization are included. Acoustic stimulation is provided by short startle stimulus of white noise sound impulse. Changes in signals are statistically and subjectively evaluated as changes in emotional state of tested person. Tested people fill in a questionnaire about their feelings. Results of signal processing and questionnaire are compared at the end.
