MIME ON THE OPERA SCENE

This diploma work focuses to the use of mime on the opera scene. It summarizes the historical facts about connection between opera and pantomime. This work contains a list of operas, that are a part of the pantomime in the history of the opera and on today's Czech opera scenes. It also includes the personal experiences of the author, which relates to this theme.
Use tap Dance in the Movie and on the Stage

Tap dance represents quite a new and popular dance style. It entertains both dancers and spectators. We can find tap dance in various movies, world tap records, in drummer, tap and pure dance shows that reached the deepest level of today?s spectator?s hearts and purses. This thesis deals with a named movies and tap records. Another focus is on musical film that have been forgotten, contemporary silent movie, history of tap dance and theatre performance, which transfer the rhythmical message to the spectator directly from the stage. Here you can learn about the tap dance used as a musical instrument, expression of diverse emotions and feelings like joy, frustration, pension, cynicism or arrogance, as a main means of theatre dramaturgy or as an amazing show, which the tap dance definitely is.
Deaf in Slovakia pantomime

Bachelor thesis titled Deaf in Slovakian pantomime, with the tagline Theatre of Quiet Sparks, discusses the use of mime in dramatic education of deaf but also their creation that is represented by artists of Silent Sparks Theatre. A substantial part of the thesis is the view of the teaching activities and the use of mime as an educational method drama by therapists and educators. Based on watching the performances and interviews with deaf actors I got the opportunity to compare the uptake and use of pantomime at present. Finding common and distinctive characters by expressing silent art is enriching knowledge for hearing and deaf actors. With searching for these characters I got forthcoming help from artistic director of the theater Quiet Sparks Peter Vrťo. The work contains many quotes from interviews i have been given by the members of Silent Sparks Theatre. Overview and description of the creation of a single professional deaf theater in Slovakia, through the eyes of a professional mime and disinterested spectator is the second part of the thesis. Interviews and meetings with deaf actors were for me as the author bachelor thesis huge enrichment not only of a professional but also personal terms.
Fools in Shakespeare´s plays

The thesis serves as an overview of the clowns in all Shakespeare´s plays. They appear in comedies, historical plays, romances, as well as in all tragedies. The study deals in more detail with the types of Shakesperian clowns- with rustic clowns, jesters and fools. Their behaviour, place and function in the plays are determined through the analysed characters and with the help of social- and cultural-historical context. To more detailed examination are also subjected the greatest comics of the Globe Theatre- Will Kemp and Robert Armin. The best clowneries pervading Shakespeare's works illustrate examples of the plays.
The Dramaturgy of Nonverbal Theatre

This theses takes the inspiration in book of Russian writer Marie Romanushko, who afford very subjectivity and intimate confession about Leonid Jengibarov.
Street theatre in this days

Short characteristics:This graduation theses try to delimitate term street theatre. This theses wants to introduce at least some theatres, which deal with this style in our country. It also subsumes revolution Living Theatre a Bread and Puppet, which influenced the development our independent scene. Some parts in this theses are also my experience with the street theatre and observations from this area. In one part is interview with the street artist Dominik Tesar, in other part is rich picture enclosure.
