The Attitudes of Czechoslovakia on the political situation in Italy in 1948

This bachelor thesis is focusing on the attitudes of Czechoslovakia on the political situation in 1948. The main objective of the thesis is to find out which attitude and importance of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia was on the political process in Italy and how the Czechoslovakian government and the public were informed and what distortions of the reports were in the articles in press, primarily in Rudé právo, and in the political reports from the Archive of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The method of the thesis is finding the range and the structure of the periodicals; the frequency, the themes, the locations, the ranges and the sources of the issues and the reports about Italy. The result of the thesis is finding out the level and the quality of information about the political situation in Italy for the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia and the Czechoslovakian public and their attitude on it.
