Deep stabilization system - contemporary findings, ways of testing and possibilities of physiotherapeutical influence
Hanzlová, Andrea ; Kotýnková, Martina (advisor) ; Brožová, Kamila (referee)
1 Abstract: Deep stabilizing system is a system of deep placed muscles, which are responsible for spine stability in calm position and during movement. Composition of this system is not totally explicit. Different authors, either native or foreigner, have different opinion on it. Kolář says, that this system includes deep cervical muscles, deep muscle system of the spine, muscles of the pelvic floor, stomach muscles and mostly diaphragm and its postural function. The content of this work in theoretical part is clarification of the term deep stabilizing system, introduction of its function and single elements in terms of anatomy, descriptoin of their basic functions, explanation of basic terms, which are relevant to this topic (for example posture, stabilization and stability). You can also find there different ways of testing and possibilities of physiotherapeutical influence of deep stabilizing system. Practical part of this work is qualitative research. For one month, I did therapy of two patiens, who have chronic back pain. After series of special tests, I detected disfunction of deep stabilizing system. I chose program of progressive dynamic stabilization of lumbar spine. You can find not only casuistry but also pictures of single elements of deep stabilizing system, few tests and program that I used in...

OF THE BACHELOR THESIS Name: Martina Neradová Supervisor: Mgr . Věra Pitrmanová Opponent of the work : Title of the thesis: Physiotherapy as a part of rehabilitation in patients after severe demage of brain Abstract of the thesis: This thesis deals with patients after severe brain damage, particularly in the most represented diagnosis of stroke and brain damage as a result of cranial trauma. The thesis highlights the important role of rehabilitation and through physiotherapy interventions I am trying to promote the concept of comprehensive rehabilitation. In the theoretical section I briefly summarize the problems of stroke and cranial trauma, further I deal with the role of physiotherapy in the context of a comprehensive rehabilitation and outline a list of the most frequently used methods in physiotherapy of patients after severe brain damage. The practical part of the thesis is focused on the specific problem of the patient, pain of a hemiparetic shoulder, which restricts the patient not only functional but also during other therapies. As a part of the current physiotherapy I have applied the current therapy through the electrotherapeutical device Rebox and watched the intensity of pain of the hemiparetic shoulder and the effect on the function of the upper limb. Key words: brain injury, stroke,...

Title: Usage of the Mojzis method in the patiens with vertebrogennic algic syndrome Abstract: The thesis deals with usage of the Mojzis method in the patients with vertebrogennic algic syndrome. The theoretical part describes the issue of the back pain and acquaint with the Mojzis method. The practical part contains two cases. Study was attended by two patients with chronical pain of lumbar spine functional etiology. For each patient was carried out the examination and on his results was assembled individual exercise unit for each patient according to the Mojzis method. In the end of the practical part are describes results of therapy and the Mojzis method is compared with other methods which using the active movement in a treatment of the back pain. Key words: the Mojzis method, vertebrogennic algic syndrome, back pain, active movement, pelvic floor
The use of physiotherapy procedures for patients with compartment syndrome in the context of arterial closures
Kubánek, Marek ; Heřmanová, Ivona (advisor) ; Brožová, Kamila (referee)
BACHELOR'S THESIS ABSTRACT Author's first name and surname: Marek Kubánek Supervisor: Bc. Ivona Heřmanová Title of the thesis: The use of physiotherapy procedures for patients with compartment syndrome in the context of arterial closures Abstract This thesis deals with physiotherapy methods used in the treatment of compartment syndrome. The first part describes the overview of the theoretical knowledge in anatomy, defines the basic concepts and finally deals with individual physiotherapy practices. The research is focused on comparing the Vojta method and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation at two patients with the diagnosis of compartment syndrome. One patient underwent therapy using proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, the second patient Vojta reflex locomotion, both in the range of five therapies in five consecutive days. When comparing the two patients achieved a significant improvement in muscle strength. The objectification of measuring muscle strength muscle test was used according to Janda. The measurements resulted in significant differences in comparing the efficiency of both methods. Key words: Compartment syndrome, Physiotheraphy, Vojta's method, PNF, M. tibialis anterior syndrome

Title of bachelor thesis: The use of feedback using the system Armeo Spring in patiens with central paresis of the upper limb Abstract: Theme of my bachelor thesis is the use of feedback using the system Armeo®Spring in patiens with central paresis of the upper limb. With progress of modern technology is one of the possibilities robotic-assisted therapy. The aim of this thesis is to verify or disprove the efficiency of use of feedback using the system Armeo Spring in rehabilitation of upper extremities, which were effected by stroke. This thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is recherche about knowlege of the efficiency of system Armeo®Spring. The next area outlins robotics and virtual reality in rehabilitation, which is quickly developing. The base for my theoretical part was mostly foreign studies and articals. Subsequently, it was my attempt to approach this method not only in terms of theory, but mainly practices in favor of Czech patients. Based on gain information and my experience I can affirm that the therapy using the system Armeo®Spring has positive influence for motoric function of upper extremities and is effective in rehabilitation in patiens with central paresis of the upper limb. Key words: stroke, upper limb paresis, neurorehabilitation, robotic-assisted...
Influencing the gait pattern in patients after stroke employing Vojta reflex locomotion
Makarova, Yaroslava ; Brožová, Kamila (advisor) ; Jeníček, Jakub (referee)
The title of the thesis: Influencing the gait pattern in patients after stroke employing Vojta reflex locomotion Abstract: This bachelor thesis provides insight into Vojta reflex locomotion method and it's influence on gait quality amongst patients after stroke. Vojta reflex locomotion method is used quite rarely amongst such patients, yet it's field of application is expanding continuously. Use of this method makes it possible to affect complex and almost inaccessible muscular interactivities amongst patients suffering from central paresis, so it can positively affect gait or other parameters necessary for patient's locomotion. In this thesis two patients were studied. Both of them had completed eight forty-minute sessions of therapy during one month. Therapy was performed in two coordination complexes - reflex creeping and reflex rolling. The results were evaluated using certain tests, such as Timed Up and Go test, Rivermead visual gait assessment and Footscan gait analysis. Both patients had experienced certain stability improvements during kinesiological examination. Key words: Vojta reflex locomotion, stroke, gait, Footscan, neuroplasticity
