The subject of this Bachelor Thesis is a commented translation of selected chapters from the pilgrim guide "Jakobsweg, Caminho Português", published in 2016 in the publishing house Conrad Stein Verlag. This Thesis consists of two parts, the first part contains the translation of selected chapters. The second part comprises the theoretical commentary to it. The commentary includes the translation analysis based on the model of Christiane Nord, the translation methods and procedures, the translation problems and translation shifts.
