The aim of this thesis is to propose changes after the analysis of the employee evaluation system in a selected organization, which is the company Schäfer-Menk s.r.o. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part describes the following concepts: human resource management, employee evaluation, its criteria, the person of the evaluator, evaluation errors, and what constitutes performance management. Then the different ways of employee evaluation are defined and at the end of this part the importance of employee evaluation is summarized. In the practical part, information about Schäfer-Menk Ltd. is given. Furthermore, an analysis of the current evaluation and remuneration system is made. The basis for the analysis is information from the HR director and a questionnaire survey of the company's employees. On the basis of the comparison of the data obtained from the practical part with the theoretical findings, suggestions for the improvement of the current employee evaluation system in this company were recommended.

Master's thesis China, India and the armed conflict potential in South East Asia is concerned with the current relations of mentioned countries and is trying to figure out, if an outburst of a military conflict between them could occur or whether they will rather cooperate. The thesis is based on the notion that these two world giants in the terms of number of inhabitants, area and even a GDP volume have an unresolved border dispute, ever since the India reached independence. In addition, in 1962 they waged a war against each other, which China won in very decisive manner. Both states have been disputing which side caused this conflict till today. Rising economic power of both states currently, together with supposed arming, development of military rocket and submarine technology capable to carry nuclear warheads and establishment of naval bases by China in the proximity of India could create a really effervescent atmosphere in the area. Reforming legal education in the Czech Republic Abstract Under the influence of globalisation, European integration and digitalisation, knowledge and skills required for performance of legal professions change dramatically. In order to remain relevant Czech law schools have to adapt to this new environment. Presented thesis is comparing legal studies at the Charles University Faculty of Law (CUFL) and University of Utrecht. The aim is to identify state-of-the-art features of the Dutch educational model which could be implemented at CUFL. Comparison concerns main components of educational process (admission, teaching, examination) but also structure of the programs and curriculum. Findings are presented in wider societal context. Although there are notable differences at the level of educational system (admission, university governance) or national educational policy (funding), a number of findings could be applied in the Czech Republic. Compared to the Dutch study program, CUFL is lacking deeper connection between individual educational elements. Specific educational goals have to be set. These goals should be derived from three main components of legal education - knowledge, skills, and values. General educational goals then have to be represented in goals set for particular courses. In order to improve...

Blažek, Zdeněk
The subject of this diploma thesis is a semi-operational research project, which was established with the aim to find out the usability of innovated fertilizers and stimulants. The survey was focused on the growth and development of spruce cultures. This diploma thesis builds on my bachelor thesis and its purpose is to extend the data for two more years of measurement and, above all, to complete a research project on selected pedochemical characteristics. Find out what impact the soil has on each of the Silvamix® tested fertilizers. Variants Agluform® 90S, Silvamix®R30, Silvamix®R30S, Silvamix®R50, Vermaktiv and calcium dolomite were used. Each year samples of the needles were taken and the total elevation, the diameter of the crown and the health status of the spruce culture were measured. For the last two years of observation, the soil samples were taken under the crown of spruce crown. After analysis of the soil samples and their evaluation, it was found that the application of fertilizers has a significant effect on height gain, health status, but also on the soil environment. A deficiency of potassium and magnesium was found in the research site. These deficiencies were the best compared by the Agluform® 90S fertilizer application which was the most successful of all the variants.
