The importance and possibilities of compensatory aids for children with visual impairment from parents

This diploma thesis deals with relation between good governance and organized crime. The aim of this thesis is to test a theory claiming that level of democracy directly influences level of organized crime and then to test a hypothesis claiming that key factor for successful fight against organized crime is presence of principles of good governance. Existence and strength of the relation between democracy, good governance and organized crime is tested by statistical analysis on a wide range of states. Results of this analysis are then verified within frame of instrumental case studies of the states with low level of democracy, low level of good governance and high level of organized crime (states of Central Asia) and a state with low level of democracy, high level of good governance and low level of organized crime (Singapore).
Withdrawal from contract in business relations (preconditions and consequences)
Bláhová, Pavlína ; Čech, Petr (advisor) ; Eichlerová, Kateřina (referee)
Withdrawal from contract in business relations (preconditions and consequences) Summary Withdrawal from the agreement is an import institute unilaterally enabling to induce premature termination of a contract, duration of which is no longer desirable - especially in case the continuation of this commitment relationship results in the situation when one of the parties is threatened by the danger of damage. Such circumstances justify above all the existence of the right to withdraw from the contract as an exception to the principle of pacta sunt servanda. This work is mainly focused on analysing the problems of the consequences of withdrawal, only a part urgently needed is concentrated on the assumptions of such an act so that the work forms a compact unit. Regarding the mentioned above, the first part of the work generally deals with the assumptions that must be met so that the authorized party can exercise their right to withdraw from the contract. The moment when the withdrawal takes its effect does not also remain forgotten in this section. Further, the core of the work deals with the consequences of the withdrawal itself. There is a more detailed comparison of the effects of such withdrawal ex nunc and ex tunc, i.e. different excercise of commercial and civil law is being compared. There is great part...

Bláhová, Pavlína ; Kučera, Rudolf (advisor) ; Dopita, Tomáš (referee)
The bachelor thesis Democracy and Islam explores the compatibility of democracy and political Islam in its current and historical context. The main object of the study is to identify crucial principles, which are shared by both, democracy and Islam and also on the contrary, identify main principles of these two systems which exclude one another. The variables, which I examine in order to compare democracy and Islam, are following: political systems in democratic and Islam countries, which includes electoral system, sources of political authority, attitude toward the political opposition etc. Other elements that need to be examined are sources of law and compatibility of Islamic law Shari'a with the basic principles of human rights. Human rights are other important article that describes relationship between democracy and Islam. The comparison of theoretical Islam and democracy creates a first part of the study. The second part is dedicated to the implementing of democracy into the Islamic system in praxis. The first case shows Turkey's approach to the democracy, advantages and traps that transfer to the democracy can bring. Democratization of Turkey is then compared to Iran and its historical development toward the democracy. The two cases also show the difference between ideal, theoretical Islam...
