Identity and Euroscepticism at odds with EU institutions and Grand Strategy. Abstract: During a very volatile time in which uncertainty ranks high, the EU faces a multitude of challenges in pursuit of maintaining its hold with the state members, promote and overlook the continuity of its interests both continentally and on an international level, all while overlooking the constituent members' economic, diplomatic and political sectors. Under such pretense, many questions arise on how the EU handles all of this, for that specifically I composed this thesis that combines different topics in different fields to have a better understanding at where the EU is heading as an international organization. Identity is a driving factor in identifying and self-categorizing with the EU for all of elites, citizens and even corporate bodies. Another phenomenon that can be brought up when speaking of identity is Euroscepticism where identity can have unbalanced grounds after a streak of crises that the EU has gone through, and last Grand Strategy as an academic field is most interesting to understand the EU's strategic initiatives.
