Metodika odběru a zpracování vzorků fytoplanktonu stojatých vod

In terms of the EU Water Framework Directive, we specified the method of estimation of phytoplankton biomass in the “Methodics of sampling and assessment of phytoplankton of standing waters” http://www.mzp.cz/C1257458002F0DC7/cz/prehled_akceptovanych_metodik_vod/$FILE/OOV-stojate_fytoplankton-20061001.pdf. We worked out a detailed description of the sampling, elaboration of samples, computing of results and introduction of data into the LABSYS database of Povodí ČR for achievement of reliable and complex information on ecological state of monitored water bodies. Data gained in such a way fully correspond to demands of European commission (Harmonization of freshwater biological methods).

Methodical guideline for fish sampling in lenitic waters

The document provides complete methodical guidelines for sampling of fish of lakes and reservoirs for the evaluation of the ecological potential and further monitoring requested by the water framework directive (EC Water Framework Directive, 2000/60/EC). The sampling methods were designed so they comply with European standards. Hydroacoustic surveying by the scientific echosounders, surveying by standard protocol of Nordic multimesh gillnets and electroshocking in the very littoral are the prescribed methods. Standard protocol tables for storing of the data are provided.
