Presented bachelor work Prager Presse, Arne Laurin and interwar Prague attends to question of journalism during interwar period. With help of archival materials? and memoirs? study, the work tries to cast light upon matter of media?s share on formation of interwar Prague?s cultural life using example of government endowed,german written, daily newspaper Prager Presse. Further it tries to clear up daily newspaper Prager Presse?s status in interwar Prague?s system using archival materials and memoiars. Attention is also paid to personality of general editor Arne Laurin and his role on formation of interwar Czechoslovakia?s modern culture. The work tries to introduce Arne Laurin?s status and influence in this interwar period and also wants to prove that Arne Laurin is deservedly considered as one of the most informed a most influential personalities of first republic and period between two wars.
