Rybová, Pavla ; Neuwirthová, Svatava (advisor) ; Šolc, Zdeněk (referee)
vi Abstract Title: A case report of orthotic and prosthetic care of a patient with a diagnosis of transtibial amputation of the tibia Aims: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to discuss in theoretical terms the individual aspects of the case report of a patient that led to transtibial amputation of the right leg. In the practical part, a description of the production of the primary equipment is presented. Methods: In the theoretical part, the professional framework of the problem is presented based on a literature search, knowledge from professional seminars and my practical experience. The practical part describes the course of the production of the first equipment, from the collection of the measuring materials, through the production of the stump bed, tests and adjustments, to the handover of the aid. This is followed by the experiment of fitting an individual with a calceotic aid to complement the compensatory aid. The practical part is documented verbally and photographically as it took place during my professional practice. Results: Too early production of a provisional bed cannot reflect the rapid volumetric changes of the stump and leads to the need to produce a new bed in a very short time frame. Keywords: transtibial amputation, cushionings, tibiofemoral angle, diabetic foot syndrome
