The bachelor thesis deals with three railway station buildings - in Pardubice (1948- 1958), Klatovy (1959-1960) and Cheb (1958-1962), all of which were constructed within the post-war restoration of destroyed stations. The circumstances of their origin, their architecture and works of art are presented here, as well as the typological development of the station hall and the work of their architect Josef Danda. This thesis intends to trace whether there are any similarities between them dispite of their belonging to different architectural styles, and present them in the context of the author's work as well as the architecture of railway station buildings in general. Keywords 20th century architecture, post-was architecture, Josef Danda, railway station, Pardubice, Klatovy, Cheb
