Sex flushes: Termal and color reaction in face during sexual arousal

Sex flushes are color changes that have not yet been investigated by experimental research. These changes are very similar to blushing, but the continuity of these two phenomena has not yet been the subject of research. In our study we measured the temperature and color reactions occurring in face and upper chest during different situations that cause blushing (embarrassment, pride and seduction or attractivity) or sexual arousal. We also tested whether temperature and color changes are related. The reaction was examined in six selected regions (ROIs) in the face and décolleté - forehead, eyes, nose, cheeks, mouth and upper chest. These changes were analyzed from thermocamera (temperature response) and classic photos (color reactions) on a sample of 21 female participant. Our results show that all the situations investigated triggered temperature changes in the ROIs under review. The most striking temperature changes was measured in the forehead area in an embarrassing situation, in the area of nose and eyes in sexual fantasy focused on physical experience, cheeks in seductive situation or attractiveness and mouth during pride. Vývoj osídlení ve zvolených lokalitách v příhraničním regionu

The topic of the thesis is the development of settlement in the borderland, especially in Prachatice region. The thesis is divided into literary and practical part. The literary part is divided into five chapters. In the first two chapters, the reader is familiarized with the concept of the borderland, then with the term Sudetenland. Furthermore, the literary part deals with the history of settlement in our country, beginning with prehistoric times, through the arrival of the Slavs, great colonization, the Hussite war, the Thirty Years' War, the abolition of serfdom and also it focuses on historical evolution of the 20th century. Furthermore, the history of settlements focuses on the settlement in the Bohemian forest (well-known as Šumava in czech language), where the reader is primarily informed about the period of occupation and post-war events. At the end of the literary part there is an overview of factors that influenced rural development until now. The main part of the thesis is mainly practical. It is based on the family tree of the author and focuses on the villages where the family lived or still has been living. Some villages have been saved and preserved after the World War II., some villages were destroyed and disappeared from the maps after the Germans moved away. The practical part maps each of these villages, describes their development and records how the villages looked on the maps of land and cadestral register and how they have changed into today's form during history.

The human face in relation to personality of individual

The human face is the richest source of information of the human body. It has been connected with psychological characteristics since the ancient Greece. Nowadays the science has been trying to empirically prove the mentioned connection. Researches are interested in perception of personality characteristics based on facial morphology. We can include there researches that investigate the accuracy of the perception of such personality traits on the basis of personality questionnaires. Studies show that personality of individual can be estimated accurately even from facial photography for extraversion, dominance or intelligence of an individual. The evaluators also agree on attributed personality traits. This may be due to the fact that our evaluations are affected by many factors and accuracy in evaluating of personality traits may have several explanations. Personality and morphology can affect biological (e.g. sexual hormones) or ecological and social factors. Facial morphology may be formed by personality traits or frequent emotional expression. It can be also caused by appropriate characteristics that are attributed to us by others. Babyfaced, facial feminity or masculinity or attractiveness of an evaluated individual is the most important factor that affects our evaluation.

Historické parky a zámecké zahrady jižních Čech

The topic of this bachelor thesis is "Historical parks and chateau gardens in Southern Bohemia". It uses a form of literary recherche and contains eleven chapters. First part presents the terminology used regarding this topic. Consequent chapters describe in depth the landscape of Southern Bohemia and Czech historical gardens fund. The main topic of the thesis are gardens, so the next part describe the evolution of garden art and individual eras and changes in garden architecture happening through history. Subsequent chapters deal with a topic of garden restoration and techniques of historical garden restoration. The most important part of this thesis is a comprehensive list of historical parks and chateau gardens in Southern Bohemia, including an attached map. Three of the gardens are described thoroughly, namely: Terčino údolí, Kratochvíle chateu and castle gardens in Český Krumlov. The aim of this thesis is to emphasize the beauty and importance of historical parks and gardens.

Economic analysis of passive houses

The master thesis deals with passive houses and their profitability's economic analysis. The thesis focuses on both new buildings and renovations, which have the greatest potential for energy savings in the building's sector. The cost-effectiveness of proposed measures is evaluated using the example of reconstruction of an existing house with passive and low-energy standard. Low-energy option of reconstruction is more profitable from an investor's perspective than the passive one. At 4% annual growth in energy prices, both options become comparable. The result of the calculation is not generally applicable. The profitability always depends on a specific building and various measures. Besides the cost-effectiveness, the investor's decision about an investment is also influenced by an increasing level of living comfort, subsidies and environmental protection.
