Project management in selected company
POKORNÝ, Radek
This work deals with project management in chosen company. It has two parts. The first part is theoretical, which is focused to theoretical treatment of the subject. It explains what is the project, management of projects, organizations of projects, processes of project management, what is target of project, communication, control, changes and risks and more. In the practical part I focused to concrete company and project management and than I analyzed concrete project. Name of the mentioned company is OHL ŽS, a.s. It is company from Spain, which acts all over the world. In the Czech Republic has the base in Brno. This company has several divisions and every of them is focused to different professional architecture. I have chosen division of structural engineering. This division builds all kinds of buildings. It could be construction of new buildings or reconstruction. To analysis of chosen project I used various business documents, contracts with investor or suppliers, document which include billing, timetable. I especially used my experience with projects of this company, and I was part of this project. Name of this project is Reconstruction of cladding including replacement windows and insulation. During the analysis of project I found a couple major gaps. If we could avoid these gaps, we could increase profit. These graphs is especially in management. At the beginning there were appointed two temporary construction managers. They doesn't care about result project, because they knew that they will not be to the end of the project. These gaps are because there is missing motivation system. Project manager can´t affect results of employees. It doesn´t depend on performance of employees, they always has the same wages. For elimination of these gaps I proposed several suggestions for improvement. The first suggestion is modification and extension of motivation system. New motivation system include personal evaluation. This evaluation depends on performance of employee. The second part is bonus from over profit. The next suggestion is make a new working position. This position would take care about controlling and project documentation. During the building project, especially at the end is construction manager very busy. It depend of decision of construction 63 manager what kind of activity will have prefer. Project documentation and administration or controlling of building works. If they are doing everything correct and technology are respect. Suggested position would take care about invoices, real work, which is done, project documentation, controlling of budget. The third suggestion is purchase of small machinery such as chipping hammers and drills. At this time they rent all devices. Rent is higher than purchase price. The last suggestion is use credit to restoration of fleet. At this time they have obsolete fleet, because the bought all cars by cash. It is not conveniently.

Nutritional care of children at pediatric clinics and hospitals
METELCOVÁ, Jana
The main goal of this work called Nutritional Care in Children's Hospital and Hospital facilities is to verify whether the nutritional standards created for older child patients meet the needs and are checked and if their physiological needs are fulfilled in chosen hospitals. The next objective is to evaluate the satisfaction of the hospitalised patients with the meals given to them by hospitals. The theoretical part of this work deals with nutritional care, therapeutic care and nutritional needs of adolescents. It further deals with nutritional risks and marginally mentions technological processes regarding meal preparation. The method of qualitative research was used by using questionnaires filled in by chosen children patients who were then interviewed. Children aged 10 to 14 were supposed to be on diet number 13, half of them were boys and the other half were girls. The research was conducted in the children's ward in the hospital in Jindřichův Hradec in December 2015 and in the same type of ward in the hospital in České Budějovice in February 2016. The initial number of respondents was five patients in each ward, then using snow ball sampling method their number increased into ten in each ward. The weekly menu according to which the meals were distributed was obtained from the catering facilities of the hospitals. By using the program "Nutriservis Profi" the contents of nutrients in the meals were obtained. The results gathered from the program "Nutriservis Profi" were compared with recommended values for particular age group defined by The Czech Society for Nutrition, so meeting the physiological needs of the patients could be evaluated. From the results it was found that both hospitals have problems with supplying enough fibre content, phosphorus and calcium in meals for children's patients. There is also sodium, potassium, cholesterol and vitamin C surplus in the menus. Thanks to the internship in both hospitals in Jindřichův Hradec and České Budějovice meeting the physiological needs of the children could be evaluated. Considering the fact that the previous evaluation revealed some imperfections, therapists from both hospitals should concentrate more on checking nutritional values in meals, consequently it was recommended to focus more on the variety of the menus and their improvement. There were also inadequacies in attendance at the children's ward. There was a comparison of the results from both hospitals, based on questionnaires and interviews from the children's point of view. Based on the data, children hospitalized in Jindřichův Hradec were more satisfied with the meals. In the conclusion there is a summary of the research and suggested suitable improvements for hospitals. There is a model menu for diet number 13 in the attachment which could be used by hospitals.

Methodist School-Based Prevention and his Role in Practical Elementary School and Special Elementary School
HAVLÍČKOVÁ, Markéta
The diploma thesis focuses at a theme of Methodology of school prevention and its role at the specialised primary school. The theoretical part is split into four main chapters which refers to the education system of children with need of special educative care in the Czech Republic. It defines socially pathological aspects including risk behaviour with its prevention. The last chapter describes primary prevention at schools using a minimal preventive program and work of a methodologist of school prevention. The practical part contains a quality-type research based on semistructural interviews with methodologists of school prevention at chosen specialised primary schools. The first task of my diploma thesis is to find out what advise parents need and ask for the most. The other task is to find out what aspects a methodologist of school prevention has to take into consideration during issuing a minimal preventive program. The questions have been asked in the way to find out how cooperation at the level of prevention between parents and specialised primary school works, and who else among school staff except of a methodologist participates in the issuing a minimal prevention program. I have contacted sixteen specialised primary schools in the South Bohemia region for the interview. Ten have replied, but only six of them were willing to cooperate further. Two of the schools are located in the regional city, the other four are from smaller cities of similar sizes. Interviews were carried out with methodologists of school prevention and questions were focused at the cooperation at the level of prevention between parents and specialised primary school, and possible influence of location of the school which could be reflected in the minimal prevention program.

The effect of pyrethroid based pesticides on fish
RICHTEROVÁ, Zuzana
Pyrethroids are ones of the most used pesticides worldwides. The widespread use and high stability of pyrethroids lead to the assumption of that their occurrence in the environment could be quite frequent. They can reach water ecosystem as pollutants. Residues of pyrethroids are not only detected in the water column, but also in sediments and in fish tissues. The first study was devoted to the product Nexide containing 60 g.l-1 of active substance gamma-cyhalothrin. Tested Nexide concentrations were 5, 25, 50, 100, and 250 &microg.l-1. Early life stage test was used.Common carp (Cyprinus carpio) was tested. There were significant mortalities in all concentrations except the lowest concentration during the trial. The lowest concentration tested 5 &microg.l-1 only caused a slightly increased mortality. This lowest concentration influenced the growth in length and weight negatively, decelerated ontogenetic development, and made the body surface of the individuals darker. Histopathology of individuals from this concentration revealed dystrophy in liver. Examination of kidney, intestine and gills did not show significant histopathological differences compared with control. The evaluation of selected parameters of oxidative stress demonstrated a significantly higher activity of detoxification enzyme glutathione-S.transferase (GST) and a significantly lower activity of defensive enzyme glutathione peroxidase (GPx) compared with the control group. The other examined parameters of oxidative stress such as catalase (CAT), glutation reductase (GR), and lipid peroxidation determined by using the thiobarbituric acid-reactive substances (TBARs) were comparable to the control group. Changes in oxidative stress parameters suggest that exposure of the organism to the product Nexide in the given concentration leads to dysbalance of defensive enzymes. The second study was devoted to the product Cyperkill 25 EC containing 250 g.l-1. Tested Cyperkill 25 EC concentrations were 7.2, 36, 72, 144, and 360 &microg.l-1. The procedure of the trial was the same as the preceded one. There were 100% mortalities in all concentrations except the lowest concentration during the trial. The lowest tested concentration 7.2 &microg.l-1 allowed 90% of individuals to stay alive till the end of experiment. The lowest concentration influenced the growth in length and weight negatively and decelerated ontogenetic development compared with the control. Any individual exposed to this concentration did not reach juvenile stage until the end of the trial. Dark pigmentation was visible in 68% of these exposed individuals on the last day. Similar darkening was visible in individuals from higher concentrations shortly before death too. Histological examination did not revealed significant changes in intestine, liver, kidney, and gills compared with the control group. Evaluation of selected parameters of oxidative stress demonstrated significantly lower activities of GST, GR, and GPx. Activities of CAT and TBARS were comparable with the control group. Changes in oxidative stress parameters suggest that exposure of the organism to the product Cyperkill 25 EC in the given concentration could induce oxidative stress and interfere with the activities of antioxidant enzymes. The presented thesis summarises actual data about pyrethroids and their influence on fish. The demonstrated effects confirm high susceptibility of early developmental stages of fish to tested pesticides. When interpreting the results, we have to take into account the fact that studies showed this risk even on single pyrethroid substances. But water organisms are exposed to many other more or less toxic products and substances in a real environment. These xenobiotics could react with each other and their mixture could even potentiate negative effects. The performed studies also clearly show the significant differences in the sensitivity of embryonic and embryolarval tests.

Management of production populations of forest tree species utilizing methods of mathematical programing
Hořejší, Matouš ; Lstibůrek, Milan (advisor) ; Stejskal, Jan (referee)
Breeding of forest tree species is a great opportunity for the entire forestry sector to succeed in the present modern World. Genetically improved forest trees have much better growing quality and they can sustain higher stress and unfavorable climatic conditions. Efficient algorithms are necessary for optimizing and establishing seed orchards. These should optimally select clones as parents in future seed orchards. In the present thesis, we developed model, based on mathematical programming methods, which creates mix of clones with the maximum breeding value and constraints on genetic diversity.

Use of anti-stress agents to minimize the consequences of stressors on the production of Horticultural Crops
Nosálková, Monika ; Hnilička, František (advisor) ; Dana, Dana (referee)
The objective of the thesis is to research the physiological differences between picked genotypes of Capsicum annuum and the effect of lower temperatures in the beginning of ontogeny. Another objective is to find out how Capsicum annuum plants react to application of anti-stress agent Atonic and to determine the most appropriate physiological indicators of resistence to low temperatures. Capsicum annuum ranks among thermophilic crops for which the temperature optimum is of 22 - 25 °C during the day and 18 - 20 °C overnight. They are planted at the field station at the time when ground frost may occur. These can cause physiological changes in the plant or even cause her death. Three varieties were chosen for the experiment: Amy, Eva a Lydia. Plants were divided into a control group and treatment group. Both groups were further divided into two additional groups - with and without the application of Atonic in the beginning of vegetative growth (6th day of exposure to stress). Control group plants were grown at 20 °C and stressed plants were moved into a klimabox with temperature of 5 °C throughout the entire day. Such temperature may occur after planting the plants into an outdoor habitat. Proline content in leaves of Capsicum annuum and relative discharge of electrolyte was studied in two - day intervals. From the obtained results it can be concluded that the accumulation of proline was the highest for Lydia variety in a stressed scenario with the application of Atonic and the lowest proline content was found in in the Amy variety in a control group. Furthermore, it was discovered that the ontogeny of plants has an effect on the accumulation of proline and relative discharge of electrolyte from the beginning of the measurement. The absolute highest electrolyte discharge was measured in the Lydia variety in a stressed scenario and the lowest one was present in the Amy variety in a control group. These results confirm the hypothesis.

Plant microclimate control
Jelínek, Jan ; Neděla, René (advisor) ; Papežová, Stanislava (referee)
This bachelor thesis discusses the management of a microclimate environment inside an enclosed box. The aim of the work is to propose and implement a program for the automized control of the microclimate. Microclimate management is ensured by a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) system utilizing the program Mosaic. Radishes (Raphanous sativus L.) were chosen as the test plant. Optimal microclimate conditions for the chosen test plant were achieved by programming the management system. The system is easily adaptable, meaning endless different species of plants can be grown properly. Healthy plant growth indicates the correct parameters of the microclimate.
